I had a really good time at this resort. I didn't do very much but it was just such a nice stay, very relaxing and much needed. The staff was super friendly and really made the experience that much better. There were so many restaurants, I recommend you try the japonese restaurant, it was amazing and the servers were so nice! This has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Due to issues with my wife’s visa to Mexico, we had to postpone the trip by one day. This was done the day before check-in, and the airline was very accommodating, postponing our trip both on the way in and on the way back. The moment I found out that I had to postpone the trip, I contacted Orbitz, and their recommendation was to speak directly with the hotel. Orbitz, my personal assistant, and I tried several times to contact the hotel through phone, email, and online text message, but none of us were able to do so. The worst part was that even when we contacted the hotel’s answering service in the U.S., they attempted to connect us to the hotel, but no one would pick up, and the call just dropped. This happened several times. When I finally checked in at the hotel, I explained the whole situation and requested to speak with the manager. I spent a total of 3 days at the hotel (supposed to be 4 days) and only less than 24 hours before my check-out did management finally contact me. This was the night before my check-out. The next morning, I arranged to speak with the manager and explained the whole situation to the supposed manager's assistant, Humberto. When he arrived, he claimed they never received any contact from us, and his best offer was for me to pay $400 for an additional night. He stated that if I could prove that I had contacted them, he might be able to do something better. The most upsetting part was tha

Was not very happy as i paid to stay specifically in Kantenah Resort but was moved to white sand villas because they overbooked Kantenah Resort. Beautiful facilities. I had a few inconveniences with the cleanliness of the room upon my arrival. This would be my biggest complaint. Some nights the outside noise in the hallways could be heard inside the room, which means they aren’t all that soundproof. However, I enjoyed my stay and the rooms were pleasingly decorated. Lovely and accesible staff all around the resort. Some buffets and restaurants could do upgrades, but overall delicious meals and food. Pools were great. Beach on the resort was beautiful with cristal clear waters, white sand and no sargassum.

Some of the staff have attitude when ask for something! Only one towel booth that 2 days in a row had no towels and had to wait 1hr for a truck to bring them in! Housekeeping is terrible, always missing something and left our room without been cleaned with no towells for two days! Don't ruin your vacation and go spend your money somewhere else, this is a NOT a 5stars resort, maybe used to be and not sure if they are under new management but talk to so ma y people that been here few years ago and said it used to be good, unfortunately, no any longer! We’ve been to many different resorts along the Riviera Maya and never had such a bad experience with any resorts so far! Don't fall on the positive reviews, not sure how they got so many stars but apparently are not from people with good service expectations.
