MAJOR updates needed
Upon arrival to The Douillet, the curb appeal in the lobby was great and the check in process went well. Until I went up to the room I was in. The room itself is so rundown, and the bathroom needs a major update. The shower was so disgusting it looks like whoever bought this hotel did nothing to fix anything. The shower door was not there instead of replacing the glass door they drilled holes on the frame and put a shower curtain with shower rings and the floor of the shower was cracked and they tried to fix it with fiber glass patch. There were greasy fingerprints all over the pocket door for the bathroom. The toilet did not flush because the chain for the handle was not even hooked up and the toilet fill valve was not working either, I had to take the tank lid off to get the valve to fill the tank. Also, the hot water was so hot that it would burn someone if they were not careful. The refrigerator freezer shelf was not even attached to the ceiling of the fridge. The condition of the room furnishing is in need of a major upgrade.
We will not be staying here again ever and would not ever recommend to anyone.
The front desk staff and breakfast bar was the only thing that was nice.
