Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff!
The motel itself was nice though the room was small. I had a few issues—one being the door wouldn’t lock when I was leaving the room. A maintenance man was right at hand and got that fixed. I couldn’t figure out how to work the TV remote and a lovely girl from the desk/restaurant came to my room and got me fixed up. Then I had turned down the heat and it went off completely. After a while the room got quite cold and I tried to get it on again to no avail. I called the desk and they sent a housekeeper and he checked it out and said the plug wouldn't stay in the wall, but after he left, it came on and was fine for the rest of my stay. If it hadn’t been for those wonderful staff people, my stay would have been quite disappointing, but because of them, I enjoyed my stay very much!

Checking at the diner is just odd and inconvenient. Room was not clean- trash under the bed, previous guest hair clumps on bathroom floor and in the shower. It’s apparent that they clean what they think guests will see but when I have to look under beds to find kids’ shoes, I found old Kleenex and food trash.

Baymont Rawlins
Overall not a terrible stay. It was quiet, beds were comfortable and clean. My only complaints would be that there was still trash under one of the beds, and the shower didnt look clean. Just wore a pair of flip flops to avoid stepping on shower floor. At check-in, they do charge an extra 50 dollar deposit, and wont tell you until after they run the card. Refundable after checkout, but you know that takes a couple of days from your bank to get back.
