Only on the day of arrival i recived a text message to say the restaurant will be closed for the duration of our stay. This meant we had no where to meet and dine with our other friends staying there. We had to taxi to a supermarket to get food and snacks for the room and then the cleaners did not clean our room as they said it was "too messy" and tried to charge us £20/day cleaning fees which we did not pay as our room was not at all left in a state! The hotel is basic. Some of the staff in reception did do their best to help us. I would suggest informing guests that the restaurant is closed before day of arrival.
