Decent size hotel with a view of the fort and the ruins of St Pau. Pretty convenient to walk to old town. The free shuttle bus runs hourly from outer harbour unlike the other hotels’ shuttle bus services. Also their free shuttle to HZMB starts only at 1015am. It also doesn’t go across to the Cotai peninsula. This is the only downside to what I would deem a wonderful stay.

Sofitel offers excellent value. The property was luxurious, staff were friendly and we got a room upgrade after deciding to purchase the breakfast buffet.The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Senado Square for site seeing and food. Everything exceeded my expectations and I would come back over some of the hotels in Cotai because of the value and proximity to cultural attractions.

My wife and I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was professional, specifically Jessicat at the Front Desk. She went out of her way to help with a power transformer and ensure my stay was memorable. This is my second return visit. The last time I was at this hotel was in 2016, and I had a great stay back then, as I did this time. My only concern is that we asked for a non-smoking room, and the room had smokers in it. The staff quickly provided another room, and the problem was solved. Appreciate the professionalism. DKW

This is my preferred hotel whenever I visit Macau. It is conveniently located with easy access to shuttle buses to the border gate and ferry pier to Hong Kong. The only inconvenience is there’s no taxi station at front of hotel. I like the hotel location within walking distance to eateries. Hotel is nice, clean and classy. Staff is very attentive and helpful.
