Calling it a 4-stars hotel is quite a stretch.
Has that '90s-Almodovar-style, so be advised.
Not particularly well kept. Damaged surfaces, streaks of paint on walls, grouting half-gone in the toilet, light bulbs with random colour temperature. You name it, they did it in a bit of a random way ( not in the artsy sense of it ).
Had to change room as my TV was not working, then the cleaning team inadvertently left my room open for the whole day while I was away.
I was kind of shocked when I came back and found about it.
Immediately reported it to the concierge and they didn't do much in order to make my stay a little bit extra special, given the trouble encountered, which is sad.
Breakfast is fairly basic. Not a huge choice and their cakes offer is based on industrially-made stuff, which is not something you would expect from an Artsy hotel based in quite a vibrant part of Rome. Disappointing.
Minibar content: miserable.
Laundry service is outsourced ( IE: very slow ).
You'd be better off with one of the several local laundromats available nearby.
Overall, this place could be fantastic with a little fix here and there, but instead it's miserable.
