Upon arrival check in took 30 minutes despite doing the pre check in. Room not ready on time. Butler supposed to give us a tour, never did. Never actually heard from the butler after being told our room wasn’t ready and he wasn’t sure when it would be.
Screwed up our drink orders more than half the time. And then just never returned with the correct drinks. Only half the drinks were drinkable. Ordering even from the same bar/bartender resulted in either a delicious margarita or one that tasted like dirty water. No consistency. Woken up at 1 am by maintenance to see if we were the room that needed them. (Was our friends 2 doors down that their bathroom flooded 2 nights in a row). 40+ minute wait at restaurants that didn’t require reservation. Food- mediocre at best. Everything was very over cooked and dry. Good majority of food wasn’t labeled or clearly mislabeled. For example muscles labeled as broccoli with no broccoli anywhere near. When it came time for the bell boy to take our bags for departure he took 2 but left 2 in the room. What sense does that even make? Housekeeping did a good job. Beach was nice. Entertainment lacking.
