We were looking for somewhere warm with a heated pool in May. Not a long flight. Not too noisy but central and close to the sea and beach with free WiFi.
We chose the Hotel Diana in Viserbella, Rimini, Italy, and couldn’t have chosen better.
Due to mobility problems, we emailed the Hotel Diana beforehand and asked for a ground floor room with a sea view and that is exactly what we were given and Antonio also kindly let us use the parking at the hotel.
Nothing was too much trouble for Antonio and his sister Diana, who both speak excellent English.
The weather was warm and we spent most of the time in the heated pool and hot tub jacuzzi, which located behind the hotel, on the beach.
There are shops and restaurants close by. Although, as it was early in the season, some weren’t open yet.
San Marino and ‘Italy in Miniature’ were only a short drive away, as were other excursion which were available.
The hotel offers half board, full board or all-inclusive with the option of using sun beds and parasols on the beach.
We chose the half board and the food was fabulous. All 5 courses, cooked fresh every day and served expertly and with a warm friendly smile by Francesco.
On the TV, you can watch Sky in English.
The rooms on the upper floor have beautiful views over the sea.
The only real small complaints are that the Shower/WC room was too small and the bed was too hard.
We hope to return again, possibly in September.
