This was a very nice stay. It was easy to find, extremely walkable. The bridge is right across the street, making it easy to get around. The cold water and Prosecco was such a nice gift, as well as coupons to the local cafe around the corner. The bed was comfortable and the AC was very nice after a long day full of walking. The water left a weird lingering smell when used, but other than that no complaints!!

Not a bad location however the rooms themselves were not good. We got to the rooms and immediately got hit with a backed up sewage smell. The sink was backed up, bathroom constantly running/flushing, and it did not look good at all! Every breath you took on the bed, it would squeak extremely loud. Rarely ever saw staff. The room wash ok at best.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are new and simple. Everything is clean and well taken care of. It is a small hotel on the second floor. So it is quiet and safe. I will recommend it to my friends. I did not drive so parking wasn’t an issue. It is an eight minute walk to the train station so cabs are not needed.

Mama’s place is a charming little hotel in a well located building along the Arno. Close to everything but away from the hubbub of the Piazza della signoria. They were very helpful with arrangements for late arrival and departure. My thanks to them.

Very helpful staff, lovely room. When we arrived (self check-in), our key to the room didn't work. We texted the hotel staff who very quickly came over to the building and agreed the key / lock was broken. Fortunately, there was one other room available so they moved us into the available room for one night whilst they got the door key / lock fixed. A tricky situation handled very well by the staff. We'd happily stay again!

The property is in a great location. Lots to do within walking distance and the river is steps away! AC worked great. Check in was a struggle, the hotel was hard to find and communication was lacking with the hosts. I’m not sure if we came on a bad week or something but our room was unclean when we arrived, previous guests belongings were still in the room. The bed only had a flat sheet available as a blanket, in addition the bed frame was so incredibly squeaky. Any movement resulted in screeches that would wake you up. Overall, great place location wise, but the rest of the amenities were struggling.

Comfortable, well appointed room. What is with the Wild rattling noise whenever you flush the toilet, take a shower or run water in the sink? It's like a built-in water conservation alarm! The breakfast was really nice at the cafe around the corner. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Central location. Easy to get around.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! Do NOT try to make a booking here. You will lose your money. No one will be there when you arrive and you will not receive the information on how to get into your room. I ended up having to book another hotel because I never heard from this place and they refuse to refund me. Don’t waste your time or money. I recommend the hotel unicorno down the street where I did end up staying. They are wonderful.
