The only negative I would say is that it’s pretty close to 46 and clowns wanted to race up and down the Main Street. Other than that, it’s under new ownership and they are working on making it the next generation value destination.

Nice motel
The motel was very clean and the room was comfortable. The overall aesthetic was a little outdated but still very accommodating and inviting. The only negative I have is that the walls/floor/ceiling are very thin and you could hear other guests. At night it sounded like the people above us were literally in our room with us.

This is our favorite place in Gruene and surrounding area. It’s so beautiful, easy river access picnic tables and a great pool area. Friendly staff too! This is our spot every time we come to New Braunfels.

Loved the room and friendly staff the only complaints are the upstairs lodge thing is super hot, not sure if it’s because the sky light but maybe a better AC unit and the shower the water runs right out into the bathroom so had to put towels to soak up the water other than that great place!

This property was conveniently located between downtown New Braunfels and Gruene- not really convenient to walk but very close to drive. I stayed midweek and it was very quiet and it would’ve been nice to see some staff who might be able to give a bit of direction to a first time visitor however, online check-in and information was easy to access. The property is undergoing renovations and I definitely look forward to returning with a small group when we can make time to enjoy the property and it’s outdoor pool, clubhouse and beautiful river location.
