Great staff. Efficient check in and check out. Room was fine but very basic with an old noisy fan. Overall a very nice place to stay in Haarlem.

Fantastic staff; let us check in early and helped with navigating parking and getting through the streets. Incredibly cute hotel nestled in the city center. Great restaurants nearby. Beautiful cathedral giving all glory to God. Lovely bells play throughout the day.

The only issue was the noise of the daily set up of the umbrella stands and the Saturday farmers market (at 4:30 - 6:30 AM!!!!!) after the noise from bars until 2:30 am. Otherwise it was a great stay and the views from the windows of our room facing the plaza spectacular!

Comfortable little hotel in a perfect location.
Location was perfect- walking distance to everything. I had a small single room with a comfortable bed and pillow and a small but adequate toilet sink and shower. Breakfast was included- omelette, croissant, bread, butter and jam, cheese and cold meat, yogurts, cold cereal, tea and coffee- that’s a bargain because in the Netherlands that’s worth €20! Note there is a staircase up to the 1st floor, and an elevator for 2nd &3rd floors. If you arrive/leave when the restaurant is open the elevator goes all the way to street level. Great little hotel, great staff and I would stay there again.

This is a very mom and pop style hotel, so don’t expect any push touches. Rooms are located above the cafe. They’re smaller basic, but have all essential amenities (though no fridge unfortunately). Mike, who manages the property, was very pleasant and helpful. He went out of his way to correct a booking mistake I made - totally above and beyond. All of my staff interactions were lovely. There’s a positive energy to the place. The breakfast is small but very good. Whoever supplied their croissants and pastries - excellent. Otherwise standard continental fare: yogurt, cereal, eggs, cold cuts and breads. The breakfast music is very well chosen. Also, the cafe is really nice as a whole. The location is the real gem here. Located on the main church square, anything you’re looking for (including the train) is with a ten minute walk. There are countless restaurants, cafes and bars near by. By evening, things are usually pretty quiet unless there’s an event in the square. Remember to close your windows at night - seagulls get up at four, and they can get loud.

Great little hotel on the lively town square
Great little hotel right in the middle of Haarlem. We were lucky enough to have a front bedroom overlooking the main square. Yes, it was noisy, but we didn't mind (earplugs provided in case we did!) and we loved watching the market being set up and the bustle of the annual food festival. The room was clean, the bed linen and towels immaculate and the little extras (tea, coffee, shampoo etc) all good quality and replenished when used. The fan in the room was welcome in the warm weather. Breakfast was buffet style with a great selection. Staff were friendly and obliging. Late arrival was easy with clear instructions sent by text, email and WhatsApp. Upon leaving we could leave our luggage after checkout until our evening flight. A lovely stay, thankyou. We can't wait to return to Haarlem and The Amadeus.

Very Central Location and Quiet Room
It might take you a few minutes to figure out where this place is because Amadeus doesn't appear on the building. I was worried because it's right on the Grote Markt and I thought it would be super loud but even with the window open I heard no noise from outside or the corridor! And there was a fan in the room which was really nice.

Convenient location, beautiful view on Grote Markt
We stayed here for four nights during the Tulip Festival. We were in a dormer room, so it was very small. The beds were small and they were placed right next to each other with the one bed up against the curved wall. They weren't the best beds, but were good enough. The room looked right onto Grote Markt and the view was beautiful. It was also in a very convenient location. A carnival with rides was set up right out on the square the day after our arrival, so we heard carnival sounds until after midnight (but it wasn't too bad). The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly. The free breakfast was good, with lots of food choices.

This hotel is hard to find even when standing in front of it. There’s a single nondescript door with the name etched on it but you check on wither the waiter in the differently named restaurant. The room is very small with quite old or cheap fixtures espaecialy in the bathroom. Worst of all was the nearby nightclub that played music until very late. I would not stay here again.

A great deal for basic lodging in a fabulous spot
The room was cozy and basic, but the view was amazing: looking out directly over the market and the Haarlem city hall, with both the Frans Hals Museum and the Grote Kerk right next door. Other than a bit of early morning street-cleaning noise, it was also a quiet location. It was a nice bonus to be able to make coffee in the room, and the included buffet breakfast was unspectacular but satisfiying.
