The cabin had a rustic warm feel. I felt at home and the mattress was out of this world.

We enjoyed the guesthouse very much. It was super clean and comfortable. The little deck was nice with its view of the river, but due to the cold weather during our stay we weren’t able to make much use of it. The buildings nearby were a bit shabby, but the location was also very convenient.

Yellowstone Entrance with all the amenities
We rode our Harley all the way from Detroit to Yellowstone via the North entrance so we didn’t book most nights in advance to have flexibility on where we ended our days. We had camping reservations at Yellowstone but ended up getting to the actual park a day ahead of schedule and had to find somewhere to lay our head for the night. I found this true “treasure” on the hotels.com app.
First of all this is a true little log cabin right on the Yellowstone River. The porch was amazing! I could have spent a week there. The home was very clean and had everything you could need. The owners had everything very organized and labeled so there was no guess work. They really thought of every detail including providing bear spray and two spa robes in each bedroom. We even contacted the owner to see if the unit was available the next night to give up one of our campsites to stay there an additional night.
The home is no more than a mile from the north entrance of Yellowstone right in downtown Gardiner. We were able to walk for dinner and drinks!! If you are heading to the North entrance of Yellowstone, I guarantee you will enjoy your stay at this place.
The hosts were very prompt to answer any questions and were very accommodating. Stay here!!
P.S. I have been booking through hotels.com for over ten years and this is the first review I have ever shared because this location deserves it.
