Lovely two night break
The hotel is situated perfectly to walk around Bowness. It was really clean and our room whilst elements are older / a bit dated, looked like had not long been redecorated so felt lovely. Breakfast was brought to your table, with a view of the lakes. Can’t fault it. Would go again.

Definitely needs more staff. Plumbing shocking and old pipes with a noise coming from sink. Also, the shower head faces wall and can’t move it into place. Food wise, eggs Benedict was raw and not worth the extra £5. However, not bad to say it was free with the stay. Bed very comfortable and warm, had a good night sleep. Overall an okay experience but expected more for the price.

A very tiered Hotel living of the Location
The Hotel is very tiered looking and in need of urgent refurbishment. There’s plenty of cracks in the ceiling and walls around the hotel . We reported that the Radiator in our room 118 was only Luke warm at best and this wasn’t rectified at all . The pool water was supposedly 28 degrees c on Saturday morning , absolutely no chance , I’m a heating engineer and I know what 28 degrees c is . If the revamp doesn’t take place soon then they urgently need to adjust there prices to come inline with the quality and condition of the Hotel .
