Convenient location
The hotel itself is very nice. The staff were all extrememly helpful. The bed was comfortable and all the furniture was a gret condition. The location is a convenient walk to the metro at Plaza Italia so there were easy connections to the metro or the bus. The only complaint I would have at all it the bright blue lights on the HVAC and bedside lights that were always on. I had read about them in another review and just put tape over them and that made the roo dark enough to sleep.

Nice hotel, but a few structural issues
It as a good experience, the location is fantastic and the staff is great too, always ready to solve the problems. The main issue is that a lot of the hotel facilities lack efficiency. For example, I had to change rooms because my heating was not working _in the middle of the winter, and they did not check this before accepting a host in that room. Apart from that, there were problems with the telephone, the shower (no hot water as well) and doors not working good too. Sound isolation is poor and you listen to other rooms. You get the impression that the hotel works with a lot of improvisation and not very much professionalism. Breakfast is nice, in a nice room with very good staff and many options. Own Hotel is pretty much like the average kind of "hotel boutique" you can find in Palermo, with few exceptions: they are charming and beautiful, you think you are in a pleasant place, but soon you understand a lot of small things do not work well, because it was made in a hurry with not very good material. They are in the right path, but still there is a lot of improvement that is urgently needed if they want to beat its rivals in the area. I also think all hotels in Palermo Hollywood are should do more to try to keep the streets around it safe and clean. They are not, and this is clearly a situation in which the hotels and restaurants united can put some pressure on local authorities. I would stay there again, but I think they can do better, because they have good will and staff

Decent location
Decent location however there was a lot of dog doo on Cabrera street we had to constantly dodge....but to be fair, that is a problem almost everywhere in BA... the air conditioning only partially worked in our room so we were still a bit uncomfortable as it was miserably close to 40 degrees and super humid outside. It was still way too warm for us in the hotel room. Not much of a lobby with mostly just the reception desk and the breakfast area. Too hot in the lobby as well. Hotel room was nice and large though very modern (concrete).

Great Staff!
OWN Palermo Hollywood is located in what appears to be an up and coming area about 20 - 25 minutes from Buenos Aires center. The hotel staff is terrific (helpful, professional and clearly interested in taking care of their guests). This is a boutique hotel with a modernistic orientation. More specifically, the well sized (clean) rooms have unpainted exposed concrete ceilings and painted concrete floors with a throw rug, two barrel like chairs and a built desk. The bathrooms are enclosed in frosted glass walls that are sufficiently private but, one might say . . . different, i.e. modernistic. A suggestion for improvement would be to replace the existing chairs with something that would offer more comfort and support. A drawback to our stay was the week-end noise created by an adjacent bar/club whose exuberate patrons partied until 5:00 am. Finally, it bears repeating, the staff is terrific.

Nice hotel for couple
I believe the hotel is for the couple traveler due to its amenities and location. Hotel amenity were very modern and clean, however, I could not find it comfortable for me and for my family. The hotel is surrounded by cool restaurants and night clubs and it made me and my family excited even at 3 am in the morning.

Good Choice
Very Quiet hotel, only 11 rooms. We booked the top floor room and were the only ones on that floor. Staff very willing to help, with english and some high school Spanish working pretty well. The location is on a quiet street and was a bit disappointing when we first arrived, as there were many closed shops and graffiti noticed as our taxi approached the neighborhood. It's kind of a "tweener" location. If we were to do it again I think we'd choose to be a bit more in the midst of the "action" of Palermo Soho. This location is just a few blocks "out of the way" BUT not really a problem. One funny thing we noted about our room is that the 2 bathroom sinks/countertop are free standing and when you use them you are facing the bed. As such there is not a mirror to look into except for the one on the side of the countertop, which is difficult to use properly. It would be helpful if they could somehow attach 2 small mirrors onto the vanity countertop. Again not a big problem. Best Orange Juice we had on our entire 10 day trip. We saw them squeezing it each morning.

Great service and accomodating.
We stayed twice over two weekends. The staff was excellent, assisting us with places to see and places to eat and drink. The location was within walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. At first we weren't too sure about the neighborhood because of all the graffiti, but then realized this was a part of the culture of Buenos Aires and just about everything has graffiti all over it. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the barista (Maria) ensured that we were well taken care of. All the staff spoke English and so communication was not an issue. They arranged for our taxis and even worked with one of our party who needed a late check out due to a delayed flight. Sebastian, Javier, and the rest of the staff really helped put us at ease and allowed us to relax and thoroughly enjoy our stay.

Good hotel in Suburb
A taxi ride from centre of BA, but a nice suburb with plenty of restaurants. Excellent friendly staff. Spacious room, good en-s shower room in boutique style ( bare concrete ceiling a bit odd for us). Good a/c but you will still notice some traffic noise if at the front of hotel. good wifi with specific router for each floor. Stayed three nights. Good continental breakfast. Despite advert of NY style cocktail bar, no customers except us on one evening.
