It was a cheap option and the location is quite good. However, we were completely bitten by many bedbugs and insects. It is not accept able even for cheap option. I totally do not recommend this hotel.

Great price and close to the metro and supermarket. It was really easy to go the city. It did smell like old smoke in the room, and there is a curfew at 02:00. That information would be great if it was clear before you book the place. Overall it was good for the price and staff was friendly!

We needed to stay somewhere for one night as our previous reservation was messed up by us. This hotel was available and was fine for one night. There were only two small towels and we would have had to pay one euro each for anymore. They also required us to pay in cash. It was a little out of the way but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

It was very noisy due to thin walls and people coming and going at all hours of the night. The rooms smelled like smoke. The bathroom door didn't actually lock that was supposedly our private bathroom down the hall. I highly recommend to pay the extra 50 Euros that you pay in taxi to get there on a nicer place closer to the center of Milan.

I recently stayed in an economy room with private bathroom, but after reading the reviews I didn’t have my hopes up. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Hotel Bristol. Firstly, it is very accessible via the local metro system and had no bother finding it. The room had a lot more than I expected: balcony, fan, TV, wardrobe, bidet etc. It was quite comfortable and reasonably clean too. If I ever come back to Milan, I’ll definitely try and stay here again - especially with the low price I paid.

To be honest the room was very hot and they just leave you an old floor fan that bearly works, the first day the elevator didn’t work and I had to carry my luggage through the stairs for five floors, the costumer service was very bad

You get what you're paying for. Maybe I got really lucky with the room but the experience wasn't even close to bad as other negative reviews point out (I got room 503). Clean room, private bathroom inside the room, decently comfortable bed, balcony, fan, no bad odors. No AC during summer is a bummer, and the inability to arrive at the hotel from 2AM to 7AM is inconvenient, the elevator is also a death trap, and granted I only stayed for around 5 hours, but it wasn't bad at all. Fairly close to Metro L1 as well. Not a bad option if you're on a budget.

Wouldn’t book again unless I was desperate for a place and had no other option. The blankets were dirty- had an old chewing gum stuck to it, and hairs ( clearly not clean/ washed in between reservations). Did not provide towels for shower, only little ones for face washing. No A/C or heating. Hot water in the shower wasn’t reliable. Very noisy, could hear everything in the room next to us. Had to leave key at reception every time we left the building, and couldn’t return/ get in the building after 2am as it was locked.

The hotel receptionist was very rude, not very attentive, he does not know how to serve people, we arrived with my family at 1:00 p.m., it was raining and he didn't let us be inside the hotel because check-in was at 2:00 p.m., we had to go and do time in a bar, I wanted to screw it up because I was stupid, I didn't do it because it's not my country. I finally went to a better place. I do not recommend at all.

The low price, as is expected, comes with low quality. If you don't need much comfort, you won't be disappointed. Since I had a very low budget, it was definitely the right choice for me personally. But everyone expecting something luxurious, spend more money somewhere else. The beds were nice and there was a fan in the room. The room's size was good. The shower was terrible and moldy. Hygiene is not to be found. Again, for a student with low budget, I would absolutely go there again. With my family or people used to great quality, I wouldn't. Really depends on your needs

Even though it was declared as a room with privet bathroom and toilet, it wasn’t!! we’ve found that the bathroom is external to our room and over the door was our room number, i received a key for it. but going to use it at evening i discovered someone else does!! telling to the hotel reception wasn’t helpful as he said it was the cleaner.. (a cleaner cleaning with a shampoo and water all over the floor? ) on the morning after the bathroom was stinky of urine some one did - not us!! again! the room was clean and tidy but… cigarets smell all over even the beds. horrible experience we know it is relative cheap but that is a false information selling us that room Be aware!

Mouldy shower but comfy beds
The room was not clean and there was even some litter from previous guests in the room (open shampoo sachet in the shower and two half drunk bottles of water in the room). The shower was also so mouldy and didn’t work well. Other than this the room was fine and the beds were actually very very comfy. I will however note that when we arrived we found out we couldn’t come back to the hotel after 2am, this was fine for us as we didn’t plan to stay out late but I feel this information should be available before booking as this may not be suitable for everyone. The staff were helpful and the housekeeping cleaned the room on the second night which was nice. There was also a fan which was good as it was very hot. Also on the shower issue the towels given were very small which worked for showering too but they were more like hand towels.
