Nice hotel in a lovely city on the Ligurian coast
The location of the hotel is just amazing: it is at 3 mins walk from the center of Moneglia, a beautiful and calm city on the Ligurian coast. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff who speak both French and English. The room was clean and had an incredible view on the sea. The breakfast was really good, with plenty of choices. We will totally return one day!

Very good family hotel with restaturant
Very good family hotel with restaturant (quite affordable and delicious 3 course dinner). Very friendly staff, pet-friendly as well. Hotel is quite far from railway station, but actually it is only about 15 min of walk. Only 2 disadvantages - no air-conditioner (only air-fan), walls are very thin and you can hear everything.

Very affordable hotel on nice location
Second stay in Moneglia and at the same hotel. Moneglia is a very nice little town,not so touristic, but with everything you need for a nice vacation. The hotel is quite small, rooms vary in size, but is very nice and affordable from all aspect. Very good cleaing. The staff is outstanding, very service minded and kind. There is a restaurant at the hotel which serves good food both for lunch and dinner. The breakfast does not differ from other Italian hotels (i.e. a little bit "lighter" than e.g. a typical Swedish hotel breakfast).

I stayed for the month of August at Hotel Eva La Romantica. The reviews here do not say that the hotel has new owners since March. Vanessa and Andrea have made a place that has a beautiful vibe. They are attentive owners who are constantly available to their guests. When you arrive at the train station, please note that there are no taxis in Moneglia, so let them know when you are arriving. You can also walk easily to the hotel. It is five minutes walk to the beach, but you can see the sea from some of the windows. On the other side of the hotel where there are balconies, you have the mountains. You are right near the train station. If you want to travel around the coast, including Cinque Terre, this is a great base. The hotel is absolutely clean and fresh linens changed regularly every three days or upon request (which is rare in hotels with even more stars) . I had a really strong fan in my room which was fine for me. Eva la Romantica has a restaurant where I ate dinner many nights. I have severe food allergies and Andrea and Vanessa made sure I had full on meals that were excellent. Breakfast that is included in the price, was complete.If you don't see something you want like fruit, then ask for it. This is a hotel where families with kids and babies are welcome, as well as couples, solo travelers and groups of hikers!
