Shower before you come.
Our room did not have hot water when we arrived. I informed the front desk and they said maintenance would be called. 10 minutes later water started getting hot so my wife could get ready for an event. When we returned around midnight again no hot water so my wife could not shower again. Too expensive of a hotel to have this experience.

Just a pillow issue

Room was clean but hole corridors are smelling weed odor. It was so disturbing and our next door watch movie until 2 am. It was so loudly. Additional they wake up at 8.30 and started yelling screaming and laughing. We couldn’t sleep. It was terrible experience.

We loved our stay at homewood suites. Rooms were clean and very nice. We had a beautiful view over the pool. The only thing was the parking. At night it was very hard to find a parking spot because of all the surrounding restaurants.

We arrived Friday exhausted from the journey in and the front desk staff provided a warm welcome with cold water. With an easy check-in we were able to get to our room on the 6th floor and we were very impressed! Clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. While we didn't use the kitchenette, it was nice to have the option in the event we wanted to use it including all the dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, etc. in the room. PLENTY of dining options along the walkway and lots of fun activities. The daily breakfast was hot and delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer, but would definitely return to Grand Prairie in a heartbeat and stay at Homewood Suites again. Thank you so much for such a hospitable stay!!!

Clean, friendly hotel!
Check-in was simple and quick; the front desk staff was friendly. We were impressed with our room - it was large, modern, and clean! Tons of outlets and ports for devices. The kitchen had all the tools and appliances one might need. We had a great view of the pond and walking trail behind the hotel. The cleaning staff greeted us every single time they saw us over the three days - that made us feel so welcome! There was a great breakfast in the mornings. (Thank you for having excellent coffee at breakfast and in the room - a necessity whether you’re traveling for fun or for work!) Parking was easy and close to the entry. Well-lit at night and felt safe, especially with the police station just next door. We enjoyed a lovely lap around the complex and saw all the attractions and dining options within walking distance. Checkout was a breeze! Having a noon checkout is a nice and an uncommon luxury. We look forward to having a reason to return to the area so we can stay again!

Overall a good stay. Nice area and clean place. The bed in our room was not good though. My back and sides are hurting now from the bed. It was an uncomfortable sleep. Maybe some of the room have better beds, but ours felt like sleeping on bumpy rocks.
