Room had a wardrobe that absolutey STUNK off damp which im sure is a healthcode violation . The toilet didnt work when the guy came to check it out he yanked the chain down 5 times like an antique kickstart motorbike . Rooms and the place in general is decorated poorly and it stinks of damp Was locked out on arrival waited about 15 minutes to get in. And when i got back to the hotel at 3 am i couldnt get in so ive rang the doorbell 12 times . Rang the number on the sign loads of times . So then i had to knock quite loud . 20 mimutes later im still outside so then ive had to knock considerably louder or sleep on the streets had no access to my room . Came out rang the police and made up false allegations and kicked me out my room at 3am for no other reason then being visibly stressed out from paying for a room and being unable to use it . Have several witnesses who can confirm i was calm as a cucumber . I did tell him his room stank the toilet didnt work theres no hot water and i cant get into a room ive prepaid . Me explaining that to him is a threat apparently. Completely out of order complete disregard for safety and complete joke of a business ... go to the shiray accross the road had to stay in one of my friends rooms opposite (shiray) and its 1000x cleaner and better then the tulip how the tulip got 3 stars is beyond me i wouldnt even give it one

Give it a very wide berth.
The manager was lovely. Very friendly and helped us set up the travel cot. But that’s where the good bits end. The room was far too small to be offered as a family room. One of us had to be on the bed whilst the other side stepped around. The bathroom was just gross. A piece of Lino in the shower. Paint peeling off the walls and the toilet was also gross. The room was freezing. The radiator hanging off the wall. Mould patches on the ceiling. We moved the bed to allow a few more inches of space and found loads of broken glass. The manager came straight away and hoovered but said he didn’t have any other rooms to move us too. As a result my toddler could not walk on the carpet without shoes as I didn’t trust it. Very disappointed and wouldn’t return. Will be contacting customer services. This places needs taking back to bare brick. No more paint jobs can save it.

Plesent stay.
Plesent stay. Lovely gentlemen greeted us and checked us in. Room was small but clean. I did find the bed a bit hard and uncomfortable but it did for a night away. It was in a ideal place just a short walk to the front. How ever parking is very limited and it was full but the time we got there Over all happy with the stay x

8/10 Very good

My only issue with my stay was that the showers are very tiny so I banged my elbows a lot and the ground seems a little mushy while in the stall. Other than that, it was decent. Some of the furniture is a bit dated but for the most part this place is clean and quiet. The staff is super sweet and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. Wi-Fi connection was 8 out 10 at the furthest room on the 1st floor. The TV actually worked. Had amenities on request. Had tea, coffee and kettle in room.

Staff was really welcoming unfortunately the the tea bags had a beard (mould all other them) and the kettle sounded like it was a fighter jet taking off also mould on the skirting might aswell off slept on a pile off bricks and the sink in the middle off the room was very convenient and shower squirted in all directions but overall would definitely stay again

It was disgusting, there was mould on the walls, damp patches on ceiling, pillows had stains as well as the quilt. The cups needed bleaching, someone had put their first through the door, it wasn't fit for anyone to stay so we walked out and didn't stay want a refund and I would recommend you take it off your site as it's not habitable

Never again.
This place basically needs shutting down as it is dangerous. We had water running down our wall from the upstairs rooms shower, this was getting a power socket wet so could have potentially killed or harmed someone. The hotel and the room itself is grubby and rundown, the bed and mattress have seen better days - probably in 1969 judging by how worn out it was! The only positive was the manager was friendly and helpful, but the best way to hep would be to totally gut the building and renovate it.
