Great manager - poor hotel
Some good things, and some bad things. Good things first: - Hotelmanager, Mr. Kohl, was terrific and helped in any way he could all the time. - The room was quite spacious and modern with a huge tv and nice beds. Bad things: - The hotel is ghost-like just out of a horror-movie. Almost no guests, and the bar wasn’t open - not even during the weekends - The outside area seems very rundown. Looks as if it hasn’t had maintenance for a couple of years. - Quite a long way from the citycentre. You absolutely need to have a car to stay here. - No restaurant, which isn’t so convenient, when the hotel is so far from everything.

Property was nice and clean. Breakfast was nice. Check in was a bit awkward. It was late but still well before they closed front desk. When we arrived the woman was not expecting us. She stayed in office behind front desk woking to get us a room. Finally came out to give us keys. Room was large and roomy. Lots of suggestive comments posted around room and hotel that were off-putting. I was traveling with my daughter.

The people who worked there were really friendly and also the breakfast was great. But the building it self and especially the garage/parkdeck, garden was not that nice. I also don't liked the design with the red/white and black and some of the Informations for example the floorprint in the elevator that sayed something like "nicht abstürzen" and showed the depth of the elevator. Probably a matter of tast but it wasn't mine 😅 The beds are gond but the shower had still two old knobs to adjust the heat and even if you found you temperature it changed all the time afterwards and pretty quick. The room was quite hot even if it wasn't that hot outside on that day so we kept the window fully open all night? At night (2:40 ) someone in the isle in front of our room was screaming for a long time. It was pretty creepy. I don't know if it was also some bad luck but this stay was definitely a little special.

Preis Leistung Verhältnis passt hier NICHT!!
Balkontür defekt!! Riesige spalten blieb offen sodass Kälte rein kam. Gottseidank war die Heizung ok. Bad nicht 100% sauber. Teilweise wandfliesen gefehlt. Aufzugtür ( einer von 2) blieb im 2.Stock immer hängen und ging nicht zu. Ich kam abends an und auf dem Parkplatz und im Eingangsbereich vor dem Hotel war Stock dunkel!! Das ist nicht akzeptabel. Die Sauna und Fitnessstudio angeblich wegen Rohrbruch geschlossen. Das frühstück war ok bis auf das Butter welches seit 11.2.25 abgelaufen war. ( seit einer Woche). Insgesamt sehr ungepflegt und veraltet. Zimmerausstattung und grösse war gut. Positiv waren die kostenlosen Getränke im Foyer und auf dem Zimmer. Cola und Wasser. Aber der Flaschenöffner fehlte 😅.

Dormero war eine Überraschung!
Das Hotel ist von Außen nicht einladend. Das Parking und der Zugang zum Hotel sind erneuerungsbedürftig. Der Eingang mit der Drehtür ist dunkel und ramponiert. Der Eingang innen sieht aus wie eine Spielhöhle und wirkt kühl. Die Aufzüge haben überall Dellen, wahrscheinlich, weil sie klein sind. Aber die Zimmer sind top! Groß, geräumig, mit Schränken ! , einem riesigen supergemütlichen Bett, großem Fernseher. Die Badewanne/Dusche ist schwer zu benützen, da die Glastrennwand aus den Scharnieren droht rauszuspringen und der Abstand zwischen ihr und dem Waschbecken sehr sehr klein ist. Also für ältere Gäste (wie wir) sogar eine große Sturz und Rutschgefahr. Der schwarze Heizkörper war dick mit Staub bedeckt, das ist das einzige an Sauberkeit zu bemängeln. Absolute Freundlichkeit bei der Rezeption und beim Frühstück. Die Minibar ist gratis! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut bestückt aber zu teuer, vielleicht weil die Minibar gratis ist. Trotzdem ist das Frühstück definitiv zu teuer.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Frühstück waren nur ein paar wenige nett. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. An sich ist das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es scheint keine richtige Führung zu geben z.B. könnte mal wieder der Hof gefegt werden. Man sieht, dass das Hotel schon mal weit aus besser Zeiten erlebt hat.

Das Hotel liegt am Stadtrand in der Nähe von malerischen Orten mit Wald- und Bergblick. Das Personal des Hotels ist freundlich und bereit, jedes Problem zu lösen. Im Grunde war alles nach unserem Geschmack. Es ist sauber und ruhig. Das Zimmer ist groß und hell.
