Excellent? Yeah right.
The price should have tipped us off that this motel wasn't high quality. But, the reviews were saying "Excellent" so we thought maybe this place was a diamond in the rough. Nope. The Greenlight is a grungy refurbished motel just off the Interstate. The rooms are small and not well lit. The heating didn't work well (and was loud). The breakfast showed only a token effort by the staff. And, because we were traveling with our dogs, we were put in a "dog room." Needless to say, the high traffic of dogs in a few rooms gave the place a smell. Out in the parking lot, a few semi-trucks idled through the night. Honestly, I can't believe reviewers say this place is exceptional. I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel has a 100% smoke free policy. The guest in the room right next to ours stood outside our door smoking and it was as if someone were smoking right inside our room. When I spoke to the receptionist about it, he said he would get the manager. Then he came back and told me the manager wasn't available.

Great price, mediocre cleanliness.
Very affordable, but not the cleanest. The place looks rough on the outside, but the rooms are better than the outside appears. The room was clean for the most part, but the shower curtain was very dirty, which made me uncomfortable. On the plus side, the breakfast was impressive, as was the pool area. Both were much better than expected. Also, there is a McDonald’s only a minute walk from the parking lot. Also great selection of tv channels.
