Overnight stay
This overnight was a Xmas present for my brother and his wife, they enjoyed the dinner and breakfast said it was lovely the room was above the reception. Unfortunately even with the radiator on the room was very cold ❄️. This was a little off putting but apart from that the stay was enjoyable.

Excellent Staff, Food and Location
We had 2 rooms due to our daughter in a power wheelchair and the wheelchair room was nice with a large bed and accessible bathroom but unfortunately you had to go up and down about a 12 foot portable ramp at a steep angle so I had to help her up and down and also we minimised the number of trips. Our room was in front upstairs and small with only a 4'6" double bed and thin mattress so did not really sleep well. But the stay was positive as the staff was excellent and treated my daughter as everyone else and the food and drink were superior as well so minor issues but definitely would stay again as perfect location to stay to visit Edinburgh/Glasgow area.

My stay here was enjoyable because of the friendliness of the staff. With the open door policy we could come and go whenever we pleased, we were out very late ( 3-4am ). Checking in and out were made simple so no long waits compared to the big chain hotels. The only downsides were problems getting wifi in the rooms ( which the hotel was trying to fix ) and the lack of a spa/swimming pool because of a recent fire The food was excellent and meal times cater for the early risers or late sleepers. Overall my stay was well up to what I expected and I would/am definitely coming back.
