Thin walls

Loved our stay here overall and will be back. It’s a beautiful space and we loved the pool, Keidel Pharmacy, bar, and room. However the walls are the thinnest I have ever encountered staying at a hotel in my life. It was honestly shocking, and also disappointing for a nice hotel. We could hear every step and conversation happening in the hall outside our room LOUDLY in our room as well as the room above us stomping around constantly which made it hard to sleep comfortably.

Beautiful and Inviting!

Hotel is beautiful and made to fit right into the feel of old downtown Fredericksburg. Staff was friendly and welcoming, really nice. Immaculate rooms. Awesome big bar, and be sure to check out the amazing sculpture right off the lobby. A couple wishes: - Although coffee is available 24 hrs on request, I would have preferred to have a coffeemaker in the room. - Room needs a mirror (preferably full length) in the bedroom area so a person can be getting ready when the bathroom is in use. We definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next time.

We were there four days after the hotel opened, so it is a work in progress. It is clearly going to be one of the best hotels in Fredericksburg when everything is up and running. So far, it has a young and eager staff. Prices are a real bargain right now, but I'm guessing they'll go up over time, giving all its amenities!

No usb ports in room, sunken king room is very dark, shower went hot and cold and low pressure, can hear every little noise outside room. No sound barriers whatsoever. Housekeeping talking at 6:45am, u could hear everything. Restaurant menu is not for the average person. Had to order room service.

Best Bed ever, but super dingy lighting

A very new and fancy hotel, with one of the most comfy beds I have ever slept on! Rooms are very modern and spacious. There is no desk, although there would be room for it. Strangest thing - even with all the lights on, its super dark and dingy in the room (to the degree where you don‘t know if you are putting on a blue or black piece of clothing) - but I know Americans have different preferences for ambient lighting than Europeans, so it might be a „me problem“. Bathroom door does not offer any noise insulation, again I assume a cultural „me problem“. The Nightmanager was super sweet helping us with Checkout at the ungodly hour of 4.30am. Could use a few more sun loungers around the pool, it got crowded at some point, but service was attentive and very polite. Location of the hotel is great, dead center on Main Road in Fredricksburg.

This property has been open a month. It is not ready to be open. In our room with a king bed, we had one small table and one round swivel chair. We had to ask for another chair to sit, they brought a wooden table char. Plenty of space for a couch and end table. None. From asking others this is not out of the ordinary. Out friends that had a suite had no television in their bedroom
