Great stay, comfy bed with good amenities. The room had a vague funny smell but was otherwise clean. The outside was a small bit unclean but once inside it was all great

It is an older building but the actual facilities were physically clean and the staff service was top notch. The hallways and rooms had a very musty smell which did not go away. It was slightly inconvenient to move around with luggage but it was chosen for its affordable price and close proximity to the Fushimi Inari Shrine (10-15 minute walk). It mostly a residential neighbourhood so it's very quiet.

This hotel is well located if you're planning to go to the Inari temple (one thousand doors temple). It has a subway station nearby, which is very convenient.
Breakfast was great!
My only complain is that the first day we arrived, the hall and rooms had a strong incense smell that we almost confused with cigarette (it was that strong, though not cigarette). It was gone the rest of the stay, but it was weird.
The hair dryer is a small one, so if you have a lot of hair, it'll take a while.
The staff was super nice and friendly and answered all our questions.
There are a few restaurants nearby, though we usually ate around the places we were sightseeing.
