Excellent location to explore the sights & surrounded by lots of restaurants - room was great for what we needed and bonus of a patio to sit & lounge on. Staff were friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend booking this hotel.

2/10 Poor

We always stay around Piazza Navona in Rome because we know our way around the streets from there, but our usual hotel was fully booked. We will not be staying at this hotel ever again. The rooms were not clean, and we had to keep our shoes on in the room because it was dirty. Every time we showered the bathroom would flood into the bedroom, so we had to use most of our towels for that instead of for our bodies. Everything had a thick layer of dust on it, and we had to dust everything, including the vents, when we arrived because we were sneezing so much. One of the families we travelled with had to complain about the broken air conditioner multiple times and were eventually moved to a different room. The other party had mold in the corners of their room. The beds were hard like slabs of rock, so we didn’t sleep well at all. Most of the staff were lovely, but the hotel leaves much to be desired. One day we asked for a taxi to the train and the lady said it would be there at 3:30 so we could catch a 4:00 train. When we came down at 3:15 no taxi was ordered and we missed the 4:00 train and had to wait 1 hour for the next train making us late for our plans. Also - the city tax is not €3.50/adult per night as advertised, it was €6/adult per night… the hotel chooses how much they charge based on the star rating of the hotel and we paid the cost of 4star hotel, which I would gladly pay if the hotel was worth it. We just felt very ripped off at the end of the vacation.

thank god for the hot tub.
We stayed in the premium suites and the room itself left a lot to be desired. the only saving grace, for the price of $600 a night, as the terrace with private hot tub (which was very major!), everything else was run down. the bed was hard. the staff were nice and helpful and the location was great but it was shabby.

Do not stay here is you want to sleep. 1st of all this is not luxury by any means and not worth the price. Front office ais rude and deceitful. They had notice on elevator about taxi strike which was not true. They of course were offering their services at a much more expensive rate. There is so much noise until 3AM and the beds are awful!!

4/10 Fair

We checked in on Friday, April 12th in the evening. We were escorted to our room on the first floor and the noise level was ridiculous as it was directed above the hotel bar with extremely loud music. They were able to move our room to a much quieter part of the 1st floor. We enquired about the air conditioning and were told that it would take time for the room to cool off. It ends up that we were deceived because in actuality there was no air conditioning available on the first floor (according to the manager, they don't have AC on the first floor until May 1st). So for the second night, they moved our room to the 2nd floor...but again right over the bar. We were told that that was our only option, unless we would allow them to move us to an affiliated hotel about 10 minutes away. We said okay, and they said they could do it but it would cost us an additional 200 euro. We of course did not accept this ridiculous option. Steer clear of this place!!!

We got no sleep on the Friday and Saturday night as there where bars in the vicinity banging on until 2 in the morning, music that loud that it shook the building, not a great place to stay if you have children. The day we left we were in a rush to get to the airport, the receptionist charged us 80 euros for 5 nights bed tax, and 80 euros for my daughters 5 night stay, she said we would have to pay cash as the eftpos was not working, we had cash so we paid the 160 euro as we were in a rush to get to the booked transportation. We did query with expedia but they said there was nothing they could do, the quoted amount on our expedia account was 58 aud dollars payable at the hotel. With hindsight we should have queried it then and there but as I said we were in a rush to get to the airport. And we are still waiting for the receipt she promised to send us.

The location was excellent everything you needed on doorstep and short walk to all main tourist attractions. A little noisy at night being close to bars but still managed to get good night sleep. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Some furniture items were tired but apartment was very safe and staff were excellent. I would recommend this to others and have no problems booking again. The transfers to and from the airport were excellent!

The hotel was fine. The bed was very hard but the worst thing was the location which was surrounded by bars. Every night the noise including loud talking and loud music went on until 2-3 am. It was intolerable.

Would stay here again
The property is well situated, near Piazza Navona, and an easy walk to the Roman Forum/Colosseum or the Vatican. The street outside the hotel can get noisy on weekends if you are facing the street. The bed was very comfortable, however some of the furniture was a bit tired. Overall a very good experience.

The rooms are large - I was there during Ryder cup so it was busy and very expensive - can’t beat the location and size of rooms - I had a great balcony and lager shower - room was great! Only thing is breakfast was only okay - but you can go out your door and find a zillion choices. Note that taxis find it hard to get to so have your exact address and get dropped at the door or the corner!

Air conditioning is a big issue. They have control in the front desk and all of a sudden in midnight they increase temperature. You have to get up in the midnight and call the front desk. It happened in day time as well as midnight. Otherwise this is convenient location to go around the city. DON’T EAT BREAKFAST in the hotel.
