Fantastisk hotel
Fantastisk beliggenhed, dejlig fin strand i den vestlige side. Lidt larm fra Long tails. Fyldt strand om dagen. Morgen og aften er bedre når der ikke er dagsturister ved stranden. Fin walking street med restauranter tæt på hotellet. Phra Nang strand kun 10 minutters gang fra hotellet. Meget hjælpsom personale, super service. Dejlig morgenmad. Restauranten er også ok til frokost og aftensmad. Poolen blev ikke brugt da man skulle være meget tidlig op for at kunne finde en ledig liggestol. Rene værelser.

Great stay!
We had a lovely stay at the Sand Sea Resort. Our bungalow was very spacious, dated, but appreciate the work it must have taken to build something like that, as well as the whole resort. Service was on point. Airport shuttle was a fun adventure and very reasonably price (took the longtail transfer and booked our own car through Bolt).

Nice location
This was a lovely hotel in a lovely location, particularly the side facing Railay west. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable but the air conditioning was noisy. The main pool was busy so we spent our time at pool 2 which was quiet and there was nearly always sun beds available. We were treated to visits from the monkeys on several occasions which was really good. Overall a nice hotel but we were a little disappointed by the rough and dirty areas that were supposed to be ‘out of site’. They really should do better to clear the debris in the service areas because it is visible and makes you wonder how far that neglect goes.

Overall very positive. Beautiful areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best localisation, close to everything. Unfortunately backyards with trash can be seen within the resort, not nice. Shower drainage had a strong bad smell nighttime.

Super sköna sängar. Vackraste frukost vyn.
Vi älskade detta boende. Vi blev så otroligt fint bemötta av en trainee tjej, Nita, och av Samaan som körde oss till rummet i sin lilla golfbil. 1:a intrycket är viktigt! Vi bodde i ett stort rum i den nyare delen, alltså ingen bungalow, sängen var magiskt skön! Städningen sköttes utmärkt. Det fanns en vattenkokare och en liten kyl. 2 vatten om dagen ingick. Frukosten hade stort utbud, frukost vyn var fantastisk! Om man ska säga något kritiskt så skulle frukost personalen kunna vara lite alertare. Ofta tog t.ex. kaffekopparna slut eller så var det kladd kring kaffemaskinen som det tog lång tid innan det torkades av. Men detta egentligen en petitess. Dagtid hängde vi antingen vid en pool (nr.2) eller längst längst bort under träden på Phra Nang beach. Dagtid är det plågsamt mycket folk i Railey särskilt i början av Phra Nang beach ( vid grottorna) men även inne i stan på restauranggatan. Men bra nog får inga båtar lägga till på Phra Nang längre, detta är ju en väldigt speciell och väldigt vacker Bech. Men, tyvärr, desto fler longtail båtar lägger till på stranden inne i Railey. Dagtid massor med folk. Morgon och kvällstid är det lugnt och stilla, därför var det så skönt att bo på hotell i själva Railey och inte komma dagtid som typ gäst från AoNang eller Krabi och bara trängas med folk för att sedan åka hem.

Doesn't miss! Great stay.
Great spot. Super quiet and tropical. Super friendly staff. Went out of way to look after us, easy to store bags, easy to buggy us to room and back when needed. Breakfast was pretty damn good too. Great location, use the hotel long tail boat from Ao Nam Mao Pier, makes life so much more comfy with the tractor they ferry you out to boat in and buggy on the other side. Great service to make travelling with two young kids a breeze.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this resort. The grounds are lush and green with beautiful pools to relax around. Monkeys played in the trees above us. The resort spans the space between the east and the west side of the peninsula and the beach is gorgeous. The breakfast was great, the staff were absolutely delightful, rooms were spacious and clean. Everything is very walkable- restaurants, massages, tours, minimarts, souvenirs are all close by. Loved it!

Don’t cheap out, stay somewhere else
Terrible experience and the pictures on the internet are from long ago. The bed was like plywood and we both left with aching backs. Service was poor except they will smile and be friendly at the front desk. Our room was beat down with broken plumbing fixtures, hand prints on the windows, staining on top of the mini fridge and pillow in the tub. The air conditioning barely worked and even had to call maintenance to reset the machine, and prior to that they had to clear our toilet which was backing up. The steps in this room are awkard and dangerous, with poor lighting. The hardwood floors were super creaky and slippery with socks. I think the worst of it was having chipped coffee mugs and bowls at breakfast then they left dirty plates in front of our room for two days even when they were there turning down our beds at night…very strange.. I guess we got what we paid for.

Fantastic!
Last minute change of plans and managed to book this hotel for one night (as we loved the area and didn’t want to leave on the last boat back at 6pm) No problems at all and hotel staff went above and beyond to be helpful to us! Breakfast was very limited and serving dinner food only downside, overall we loved it will stay again one day!
