This is definitely not your typical hotel…we had a hard time getting in the building bc it’s not a hotel it’s actually like an apartment complex. The room was inside of an actually suite. We had a hard time communicating with someone bc remember this is not a hotel so no personal assistant. The room was okay and clean, central area but I will not consider this for another stay.

The location is excellent, very central and within walking distance of the Vatican. The room was decent and had good amenities, although I’m not sure I would describe it as “luxury.” Unfortunately, the check-in experience was one of the worst I’ve had while traveling. If it hadn’t been for some people standing outside the building who helped us, we would have had a very difficult time getting into the building and finding our room. I’m not sure whether the lack of communication was the owner’s or Hotels.com’s responsibility, but I never received any check-in instructions before arrival. My advice is to contact the property directly in advance and confirm all check-in details before you arrive. The location is great, but the check-in process definitely needs improvement.
