Advertised as a hotel (not Pontins) with an address that didn't match the booking one and lacking many of the basics you'd have in in anything resembling a hotel. One of the worst properties I've stayed in over 4 decades. A generally stand off ish and hostile undertone from the staffing on arrival, several serious defects and no warning about the bedding or towel shortfalls (unless you are one of their loyal customers who tolerate more than they should be expected to). Play areas and dinosaur area run down and falling to bits. General internal and external appearance largely worn out. Seemingly a quick Internet search makes grim reading so a family with disabled children such as ours would have steered clear. Never again. Thank you.

Terrifying!!! The worst place on earth. I came with my family for 4 days to have a nice time. Unfortunately, after crossing the door to our small apartment, we were terrified. Dirty everywhere, hair left over from the previous tenants, duvets and pillows just as dirty, a broken sofa, cutlery drawers and shelves in the kitchen covered with dirt, a fridge without shelves, a pile of garbage and sand in the corner next to the broom, no TV remote control for the entire stay .. a nightmare .. all the attractions that the resort offers are mostly closed. a swimming pool which would be the biggest attraction for children for four days only available on one day.. I absolutely do not recommend it, I have been to many places but it exceeded the scale how can you describe this place as the worst of all

Uncomfortable and rundown but the kids had fun
The blue coats were entertaining and this meant my children had fun. Other than that it was awful. Half the on park fun is closed due to maintenance, the sofa beds are solid and I woke up feeling injured and there is not any ventilation in the main hall. During the football there was one person serving drinks in the pub and this was the only place to get one from so he covered the main hall (panto on), arcades, arts and craft area in 22 degrees heat. The arts and crafts area wasnt doing paint as it made a mess and there was only one felt tip that worked, the soft play was disgusting. Do not eat in the restaurant.

Place falling apart - AVOID
The whole place is completely run down. The apartment was dirty and unkept and in bad condition. Same with the facilities. So many areas were closed but not mentioned on your website or theirs- no go kart, no dinosaur land, no bouncy castles. Mini golf was filthy and broken. Very poor facilities. Loud and noisy at night time. Ppl playing football or loud music till 3am. Nothing positive to say about anything. No one we met was pleased with the facilities, cleanliness or state of the amenities

On arrival at reception we asked where to check in and the gentlemen barely took his eye's away from his phone and just said over there which was not helped at all. We were given a map but no details about meal time or where to go and no details about activities. The room was dirty with hair and dust in the sofa bed which i had to sleep on so a good job we had wipes although wasn't planning on having to clean like this on my holiday. The bathroom had no towel rail or shelves so nowhere to keep anything. We saw one bluecoat on the Friday that was the only one during the entire stay. Noise from other guests could be heard well into the early hours so i guessed no double glazing and very thin walls curtains had holes in them letting light in. Would not stay again and would certainly not recommend.

8/10 Very good

Naybe all the bad reviews lowered my expectations. But it wasnt as bad for us as people are saying. Pur room was somewhat clean. Beds were very uncomfortable admittely they really could do with an upgrade. I only went for 1 night with low expectations. The kids were happy and i found the prices reasonable. The beach alone was worth the stay. Over we were happy and would go back for another night.

Disgusting, filthy - needs to be demolished
This is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. They should be shut down immediately. Hotels.com should not have anything to do with this horrendous place. We simply could not stay there and had to leave wasting £158 which I just cannot afford. I felt ashamed that I took my 8 year old daughter to such a disgusting and filthy place for a “holiday”. No hot water, filthy accommodation, metal bar sticking out of our double bed. A running tap in the kitchen that could not be turned off - it was so loud that we were unable to sleep. Filth all over the walls, urine all over the toilet - and that’s just the rooms, the grounds are just as revolting. We left in the middle of the night and drove home. A sign at reception says “no refunds, no room swaps, no room upgrades” - Hotels.com should cut ties with this place immediately as they are a slur on your name. The public toilets are a disgrace, I’ve never smelt anything so disgusting. There is no one to complain to, no one that can help and no way to refund the money that has been robbed from us. I feel violated.

Shishi having fun at Camber Sands Pontins💃
Amazing entertainment every night, nice clean pool, convenience of shops and the beach is so close. Basically once you park you don't move your car because everything is within walking distance.

The whole complex is old, tired and out of date. Very loud people, drank and shouting at 3 am.There are no storage facilities. Insufficient staff. Rooms unavailable until 4pm. I had no car arrived at 12 pm waited until 4 pm for the key. I can not recommend this place to others. Sleeping on the beach would be better.

The whole site was shabby and litter strewn. The appartment was dirty. The curtains, fittings and furniture were worn and damaged. Guests were openly smoking in the inside communal areas, and there was the smell of cannabis in the outside areas. One night was more than enough. Never again!

VERY DISAPPOINTING
We didn’t have hot water in our unit, I have two small children to give them a bath but I couldn’t I went to look for some help a guy from the staff came to check and said he will send his boss to fix it, he never came!! Furthermore every time we try to use the water the boiler made a very loud noise. It was very upsetting and disappointing! What is more the unit was very dated and floors were very dirty.
