This is a great place to stay, this was my second time staying here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this for anyone that is looking for a great place to stay.

The staff are so accommodating and they excel in customer satisfaction. The rooms are large, bathrooms have hot water, refrigerator that keeps your drinks icy cold, the A/C - well you have to keep it on low when in the room (very effective). Breakfast offers a good variety and very yummy. It’s away from the night clubs and noisy night life. Quiet, private and serene. It doesn’t get any better. FYI - after staying a few days I was upgraded to the VIP room as it was available and was offered out of kindness and courtesy. Wow. I recommend staying here as a return customer.

Quiet relaxing place and excellent service.
Service was great, close to White beach and walking distance to get a boat for diving/snorkelling.

Nice secluded location next to the yacht club. Large, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Food is mediocre, but that's typical for Philippines.

2.5 star hotel masked as 4 star - disappointing.
On the face of it, lovely looking small hotel. Views amazing..
However,
- this is not a 4 star hotel - more like 2.5 stars
- bed sheets and pillows stained
- bedding very cheap
- shower dreadful - dribble night 1, no water at all (inc sink) first morning (until they fixed it).
- no blackout curtains so room was very light at sunrise.
- Wi-Fi is almost non-existent - Cannot use laptop so rely on mobile phone Wi-Fi which is decent enough.
- this is not a 60gbp a night hotel- half that is reasonable.
- every decision has to go past the manager (owner), who is based in Manila.. he seems very short-sighted.
Hotels.com were very unprofessional in helping me with these issues. As the hotel wouldn't refund unused nights, hotels.com wouldn't help me further. I've used them often, but no more.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the island. Room was gorgeous and felt at home. The staff responded to us immediately upon request.
There was some minor water pressure issues in the bathroom but we assume because they were trying to fix the pool. Once it was fixed water worked perfectly.
Overall great experience and I would return again!!

Weekend Getaway 🙂
Had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff is nice and the room was also nicely appointed. There is a beautiful view and a quiet setting. It doesn’t seem there is much focus on the restaurant but it’s ok as there are many options for dining in the area.

Lost paradise at Puerto Galera
All began before our arrival. We were on the way there with a late check in so we called to inform them. The front desk person (Marisel) was so attentive to the extreme of wait for us to make sure we get there safe after a long trip on the road. That was the first of many of good things that happened to us. Next day we decided to have our own menu for dinner so we asked her if it was possible to have it so she went over and spoke to a nice and professional person who happen to be the General Manager (Chuck) and who went not the extra mile but more than that to call the kitchen and restaurant staff whom were off at the time to come back and prepared our dinner as requested by us. That is extraordinary unbelievable but they did it and that made us so happy that we are coming back soon. Thanks Chuck, Marisel, Yinqui, Ate (Chef) and Christy for all your attention and for making us happy.

Nice hotel up and behind the yacht club.
Being on top of the hill has the benefits of being away from town and it’s inherent noise but also means a fair amount of climbing. As I was on the top floor and breakfast is down in the garden this represents 7 floors to climb. Thankfully I’m still reasonably fit.
The staff were always polite and cheery and the place acceptably clean despite the constant downpours.
My only negative points are that the hand towels felt cheap and non absorbent and the breakfast was far too salty. I brought this up and was told that they do not add salt the eggs are cooked in butter. Friends I told this too said that there is a local butter substitute which is very salty. it may be that this was used.

GREAT STAY
Stayed at the Honeymoon Room at the Manor. King Size Bed small but nice room with big terrace with view
Free breakfast 10 choices and a great breakfast. Had dinner at their sister restaurant "FELLINI aka CASA ITALIA",
best pizza i've ever had including Italy and the price was moderate. Manor is on a small hill overlooking four waters including Puerto Galera Bay...it is not a beach hotel but near all the beaches which is what we prefer. No insects due to the nice breeze, no vendors, private and exclusive. I'm going back.

they were currently renovating ... the staff were brilliant esp the young boy. Always needed a lift to get anyway but that's cheap. The pool was great .... once it is finished .. it will be a better place to stay. The art work around the place was really cool. We felt looked after and valued.

I keep coming back to MANOR every year, and the Manor does not disappoint.
Great staff, secure with fantastic views but good walk distance or tricycle distance to most of the major Puerto Galera beaches.
