The hotel was amazing. In the middle of the jungle, with the most incredible views above the ocean. Our ocean view villa was big and comfortable, and most important - quiet. The staff was super nice and polite. Not much to do but relax, but we had a really good time in the beach and the pool. Also the massage was great. The food was good most of the time.

Great Villa, overprized Services, crowded BF
Wir sind etwas zwiegespalten. Für ein Luxusressort reicht es einfach nicht. Die Poolvillen sind wirklich wunderschön, überall Schnitzereien, der Pool und die Wanne toll. Teilweise aber auch renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstücksrestaurant ist absolut überlaufen, die Leute begegnen sich schon aggressiv, es sind einfach zu viele Leute beim Frühstück. Auch am Hotelpool muss man sich selbst um Handtücher udgl. kümmern und Strafe zahlen, wenn man sie nicht selber zurückbringt, Müll wird auch nicht weggeräumt. Die Hotelpreise sind unverschämt hoch. Einfach alles ist total überteuert, aber man kann ja in das Dorf gehen. Der Hol- und Bringdienst funktioniert gut. Ein paar Villen sind von außen einsehbar - ein NoGo bei dem Preis. Fazit: Kein echtes Luxusressort, aber luxusfeeling bei den Poolvillen. Essen lieber authentisch im Dorf (auch wenn dort touristische PReise verlangt werden, besser und günstiger). Der Speedboottransfer ist total überteuert, und für Toilette muss man extra 20,- Baht bezahlen, geht's noch? Die Mitarbeiter sind superfreundlich.

Low standard - nice view
The Villas are very old. Amazing view though, but a lot of insects. Ants all over, cockroaches and frogs both inside and outside. A little disgusting. The service in the restaurant and reception are not as high as other places in Thailand. You do not feel special - more like any other guest. Borrow food at the restaurants after 1 visit. Breakfast is crowded. It is not really working with the what’s app, telephone thing - if you make a request to one person, another will answer and you have to explain yourself again and again. Elephant trip was nice and they arranged perfect transport to and from the hotel for us. The island is worth a visit, but next time I will choose another newer hotel for my family.

We had a great stay at Santhiya. The location was beautiful as was the room and restaurants. The pools were clean and not very busy (we visited begining of November). We didn't have to wait long for the drivers, even when there was a downpour! And if you ask in advance they always come on time. The spa was absolutely amazing! Yes the prices are higher than general for Thailand however still much cheaper than the UK. The price is reflected in the settings and service. We had a couple steam, body scrub and massage. We enjoyed all of it and would definitely recommend. The restaurants again were a bit pricier however it is worth remembering this is a resort so not unexpected. The restaurants and which menu you order from were a bit confusing however he staff were happy to help.

Pure luxury
A beautiful resort with multiple restaurants, pools, entertainment options, loved the library cafe for a rainy afternoon. Food delicious and the staff are wonderful. Not as cheap as other places in Thailand for food/drinks but cheaper than Europe.

Nous étions déjà venu dans cet hôtel en 2018 .. Malgré le fait d’avoir été surclassé ( merci …) l’établissement commence à montrer quelques signes de vieillissements mais l’endroit reste malgré tout une valeur sûre …les beach massages sont supers ! Le personnel est très poli

L hôtel est magnifique dans sa conception globale sa décoration thaï et son architecture . La villa à piscine d’eau de mer où nous avons passé 4 jours est exceptionnelle : vue sur la mer, confort, rafinement jusqu’à la magnifique salle de bain en plein air pour un très bon rapport qualité de fin de basse saison ( octobre ). I did not enjoy my stay at all! I came to visit and potentially have my wedding at this place. There were a few times when I did not feel comfortable here, but the situation at the restaurant was definitely the worst. I had scheduled a luxury dinner at the beach, and when we arrived, they expressed concern because my shoulders were not covered. I was confused because earlier in the day, I saw many people eating in the restaurant in swimsuits. They told me that because there were in a Muslim community, I wasn’t allowed to eat like that. I got very frustrated because I respect all cultures and religions, but there was no introduction or any information from the hotel informing us about this, nor were there any signs. Additionally, the AC in my room did not work. I couldn’t fall asleep at all, and although they let me sleep in a different room, it was already the middle of the night. The only thing that was absolutely lovely was the spa! However, you don’t have to stay at the resort to go to the spa!
