A 1 night stay
Easy from start to finish, I wanted an economic stay and received it, with the added bonus of free parking (which should be provided by all hotels but isn’t)

8/10 Very good

Was fine for a last minute stay, internet signal was poor and we had random fire alarms going off in the night, but only needed it for a last minute booking for somewhere to sleep

Good value
Comfortable, clean, good location and views. Would happily stay again, value for money and only a short walk to restaurants/amusement/bars etc. But happily out of the way of all the hussle and bussle of Blackpools main drag.

You get what you pay for
The room was cheap in comparison to other nearby hotels. The bedding and towels were clean, as was the bathroom on the whole. The bed wasn't that comfortable, the mattress was pretty hard. The biggest issue was the lack of curtains and blinds that didn't close properly. Not great when you're right on the street front. I paid £54 and I think that was in the more expensive side for what we got. The room was very small and a lot of noise through the night from the road and trams.

Totally avoid this hotel. I was booked in for 4 nights. I only stayed one. There is no window in the fire escape door upstairs. The wind and rain that night was horrendous. No hot water in the toilet sink. This place should be closed down. It not fit for habitation. The smell of damp is overpowering. Avoid at all costs.

Lovely room with sea view, only downside was there were only tiny cups, would have preferred mugs, and no tea bags. Breakfast in the hotel would have been preferred but we found somewhere to eat quite easily. The host's were lovely. Even though they have only been open for a few weeks we will definitely be back to see where they have taken it. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Happy for what we paid
For the price of £47 for the night I knew what I was getting, the hotel is in much need of an update which I think is currently being done. I was happy with my stay as the room was clean, bedding and towels fresh and easy to check in and out. The staff all seemed friendly and WiFi given. I wish the new owners the best of luck

Room warm, Bed was comfy and bedding clean and warm- which was good it was freezing outside. TV not working, we reported it and staff had a look. Car parking very handy. Owners new, and I’m sure over time the place will gain atmosphere and fit tires and fitting will be renewed.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Interior condition of the hotel is extremely dated although it appeared clean and tidy. Room size was adequate however again, extremely dated and budget. Beds were uncomfortable

no complaints!
Myself, my partner and our friend stayed the one night. Room 1 was fine, bedding was clean, comfortable bed, on suite was clean, shower worked fine. Room 10 decor was outdated but clean. Rooms were a sufficient size with kettle, tv, wardrobe and sofa. Gentleman on reception was pleasant, explained everything we needed to know. We managed to park on the front but was told there was also parking on the side street if needed. No issues checking out. We just wanted somewhere low price, clean and available parking for a quick visit to blackpool and that’s what we got.

Not bad, not great!
Not bad, not great. Nice enough people checking in, hotel appears clean but a close look and not great ( shower unclean, under beds not good etc). Biggest complaint is the noise. No curtains so doesn’t keep much noise out from the road out front and trams, also generally the other guests were noisy and the apartments next door seem to attract party goers. Obviously this is Blackpool (close enough) so you know what to expect and the roads outside we knew were there but generally it’s an ok hotel, wouldn’t recommend for a family though.

The man on reception was lovely and explained about the hotel being taken over. It is a good hotel for the price. However the website said breakfast was included which it isn’t. That’s fair enough as it wasn’t expensive but I do think that should be taken off the website. Also, there was no remote for the tbh. (If they are at reception we was not made aware) and the website said there was free Wi-Fi, again no codes around the hotel and was not made aware of reception. I would go again, I think this place does have potential

Garlands
The place is in need of some TLC, my friend stayed in one room where the deco was mismatched and her blinds had holes in them. When in her room she couldn’t open the door from the inside. We spent ages trying to get her out. Our room door we couldn’t open to get in. The shower was taped up so we needed to be careful as not to pull the curtain all the way round. The amenities that were stated in the list of what’s there was false advertising as the bar was not open, no entertainment of any kind much needed especially as it’s in a quiet area and miles from town centre. We didn’t have breakfast which was priced up at £10 each not after paying £105 for the room. The owners have a little gold mine, if they opened the bar and did evening meals as the only place near by was a Steak house they would be rolling in the customers
