We LOVED this crazy, eclectic, unique place. Victor was awesome, very helpful and spoke excellent English. He gave us tips on how to make the most of our shopping time. The breakfast was amazing!

What in incredible fun and interesting place to stay. Victor treated us so well and was such a gracious host on so many levels. The staff was easy to work with, the food was incredible. The other comments about water pressure are accurate, but the staff was upfront about them when we first arrived so we were able to plan around it. The staff made arrangements to pick us up at the airport and drop us off at the end of our stay. They held our luggage while we trekked for 5 days and we’re one of the most serviceable and accommodating hotel staff we have ever dealt with. Excellent service. Thanks Victor for all you did to help make our 20th wedding anniversary an incredible one!

8/10 Very good

We arrived to find that there was a water issue in the suite. (No hot water at certain times of the day and no water pressure at others.) the manager, I believe, did not seem to grasp (or care) that this was an issue. However, the problem was resolved by the next day and Cesar provided us with the most wonderful breakfasts we could imagine and he was a delight to talk to. We also received wonderful service from Carlo. Thank you - we can’t wait to go back!

Great restaurant, terrible hotel
On arrival you are wooed by the excentric nature of the decorations of the property, ( the owner had a large collection of kitch artworks which he used to decorate both restaurant and hotel) . It works in the restaurant, which has also excellent food, it fails miserably in the the hotel rooms. Especially as the staff have no concept whatsoever of running house keeping or making rooms workable Heating in rooms are non existing or extremely dangerous ( open oil fires WITH no ventilation) average room temperature 5 degrees Celsius at night), Shower mixers were broken Down, broken 1950’s fridge ( great for decoration but useless as an appliance) Most dangerous for guests are the stairs leading to the bedrooms, which literally a death trap (uneven stair risers on a winding stairs, which would be in most countries illegal). Expedia should check their liability in promoting this place as a hotel!!!

Fantastic Hotel
Stayed at the Fallen Angel for two nights before heading off to do the Inca trail and one night after the trek. Fantastic location at the heart of Cusco, incredible property with interesting, unique rooms and great restaurant and bar. Best of all was the service - incredible staff who looked after us so well and made our stay unforgettable.

Wonderfully quirky hotel with amazing staff
My wife and I spent a total of 6 nights at Fallen Angel during our Peru honeymoon, and we loved the place. Before we even arrived, they became the first hotel that's ever proactively messaged me on Expedia - asking if we needed anything, such as coordinating transportation to the hotel. We spent five nights in the yellow room, which had a loft and a balcony, then went for a 5-day trek, and then spent one night in the red room. Both rooms had wonderfully quirky and interesting art and furniture pieces, most of which have something to do with Peruvian traditional or colonial life. Uniquely, Fallen Angel also puts a lot of effort into making their bathrooms unique and interesting as well. What stood out most with Fallen Angel for us, though, was their staff. The hotel has four rooms, and is otherwise a restaurant. All of their restaurant staff can work with hotel patrons, so while there's not really a reception desk, there are always staff around to help with anything you need. All spoke good English, and they helped us with arranging tours, taxis, 4am boxed breakfasts, and helped us work around some major protests that were going on at the time (and blocking roads in the city). They are happy treating the rooms as essentially extra restaurant tables, and serve all their food and drinks to the rooms. Breakfasts were delicious and served to the room at times that we requested. Overall, we'd very highly recommend Fallen Angel, particularly for couples.

Super Funky Art Hotel- can't wait to come back!
The coolest, most funky awesome hotel I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world, and I have been traveling abroad for the last 17 years. Hotel owners are artist and designers and have brought to fruition a full eclectic vibe, right down each item on the delicious menu. I have told just about everyone I know about this place. It is an impressive sight and the rooms are as comfortable as they are beautiful.

An amazingly unique hotel that must be revisited!
This is an amazing place and not like any hotel I have ever stayed at before. There is no front desk and its completely different from chain or 'fancy' hotels. We were greeted with a huge welcoming drink, had dinner and breakfast in our funky room and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want a standard Hilton experience, do not come here. But if you want to be impressed in a new place with excellent food, amazing people and a one-of-a-kind hotel in an impressive city, this is the place for you.

Attentive Staff but Questionable Guest Rooms
I stayed at Fallen Angel from May 9-12, 2017. The hotel/restaurant is centrally located, a mere 2-3 blocks from the main square (plaza de las armas). The staff at Fallen Angel is attentive. The decor and ambiance of the hotel is super artsy. I found the room to be uncomfortable as the bathroom was composed of glass walls and some flimsy white curtains so there was no real privacy, in addition, the level of cleanliness was questionable. The kicker came on our last night when we returned from a full day tour and found no running water. When we asked the manager, she told us the whole city of Cusco shut down their water. We went out to do some shopping hoping the water would turn back on and asked around. Turns out the Cusco did have running water and the staff lied to us. The hotel offered us a complimentary dinner, which was great, but it did not make up for the fact that we could not shower or flush the toilet. The staff brought us buckets of water for the night and we felt filthy and generally unhappy since this is a 4-5 star hotel without running water and the staff blatantly lied to us! I asked for a refund which I was denied. My advice to travelers is to eat in the Fallen Angel Restaurant but skip the drama, shell out an extra $200 and stay at the JW Marriott down the street if you are truly looking for the experience of a 4-5 star hotel.

Pretty but not functional
Beautiful rooms, visually pleasing. However there is a smell of mold and the music they play in the restaurant is quite loud. I had some problems with the showers. Ran out hot water. Ran out of water one night mid shower. Was covered in soap and shampoo until the next day when the water came back. The staff are very accommodating and kind. But for the price I expect more.

SPECTACULAR!
I was extending my time in Cuzco after a guided Inca Trail Trek. I picked the Fallen Angel because the online photos intrigued me.I was not disappointed. This is not a hotel, it is a guest house with only four suites (these are not "rooms"). I stayed in STRENGTH and it had a wonderful dining area, huge claw foot tub, upstairs sleeping loft with incredibly comfortable bed. The staff was extremely personable greeting me by name upon my arrival (very few guests, easier to do). Andre sat and visited with me while I relaxed over a cup of coca tea. It was a lovely repast. One thing, I love Cusco and Peru so much, it was a bit of culture shock, because Fallen Angel is more European style and Frank Sinatra was playing on the sound system when I walked in. But this is an unforgettable guest house and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The Pre-Columbian Museum is right next door, the Inka Museum is around the corner, and Plaza de Armas is 1-1/2 blocks away, yet it is tucked away in a discreet corner. Love, love, love. I will be back... and it is SO ROMANTIC... I will not be alone! (WIFI is sketchy in the rooms, as I was warned, but I enjoyed leaving my double room doors open and sitting on the balcony.)

Fantastic service, Quirky hotel rooms
We had just returned from a 5 day trek, tired, dirty and a little grumpy. Geraint and the team were exceptional, they lifted our spirits immediately. As a hospitality professional I was impressed with the level of customer service I received from every employee I interacted with. The food was delicious & they have the best passion fruit Mojito's in Peru. If you are looking for a quirky hotel & great service I highly recommend the Fallen Angel.

This is a very unusual property. Its art works are bold and make statements that might not be for the squimish. Managemnt goes all out in every way to accomodate every whim. My wife and I were a bit shocked by the decor at first but then got good laughs out of it
