Artsy comfy hotel close to beach
Artsy fun hotel with nice staff. A rare find with parking on site, first come first serve. If you’re there near check in time, your chances are better. A few minutes walk to the beach and lots of amenities nearby. Rooms are dated and a bit worn, but comfy and have fridge and microwave. The lobby and patio have an abundance of fun decor with places to sit, some tables, and coffee in the morning. Shout out to Bellin who was super helpful.

James Hotel a little gem
This was one block from the Beach and right near Lincoln Road. In a brillant location for seeing Miami Beach. With a real quirky appearance and very friendly reception staff. Room was basic, big, comfy, clean and with a good bathroom with plenty of hot water. There was a fridge and microwave but no cups or cutlery etc. we didnt use so didnt matter. Car parking was also available. This was a great value for money little place

The property is at a prime location and walkable to the shopping area , good dining areas and also the beach - we were barely there but enjoyed the walkable convenience to everywhere. If you are someone looking for an option to be in prime spot with free parking and personal space - you need to book this.

This truly is a unique hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Probably the outstanding feature is it's proximity to the Lincoln Road and the beach. You couldn't be in a better location. We deliberately arrived early so we could park the car in the car park and relax knowing it was safe.

James is an eclectic property off Lincoln Road, a great location. It includes free parking. Parking is limited but we grabbed a spot. The associates and owner are very kind and helpful. The hotel rooms are simple in decor but very clean with comfortable beds. It was an excellent value, especially with the complimentary parking.

A bit aged, with a weird decoration... over decorated in the reception, but the rooms are OK, with fridge and TV, good space, good bathroom. The bed was too soft, for those uded to hard cushion. Simple coffee with donuts and fruit.... but the best... they do have a parking lot without extra charge....

OMG!! I just got home today from Miami and I have to say I LOVED this place. If you want a hotel with character, this is the place. It's not super fancy but it is weird, cute, interesting, and oh so decorative!!....and I love interesting!! The front desk lady was very nice and we arrived hella early but they held our bags for a $5 fee, which wasn't bad at all. It was clean, quiet, within about a 5min walk from the beach, and located near a ton of shopping and restaurants. My next visit to Miami will include the James Hotel!!

Great Location. Bad Experience
The hotel is in a fantastic location but is in very poor condition and need a complete renewing. The style is very different, with the walls covered with figures and weird painting, and that´s fine! But the problem is that there are many features in very bad mainteinance condition and we feel a lack of interest of the administration to spend some money and solve this. The elevator keeps breaking and the door always stays open since the hinges are 100 years old. Same thing about the room bathroom, with wasted/worn out shower comands, tiles and sink. There is no interest in making the guest stay any more pleasurable. We asked for maintenance and instead of having our requests attended, we got indiference and a very unfrendly attitude from the administration.

Overall it was a good place. Little old and not modern but what it lacks in amenities to makes up in charm. Clean room, bed, bath, and lobby. Not a cookie cutter style hotel. This hotel screams old school miami and thats why i pick it.
