We stayed at the hotel September 2024 for Oktoberfest. I read review about rooms being a bit hot, but honestly they weren’t that hot. We cracked a window and it was fine. Everyone and I mean everyone at this property were fantastic. Especially the bartender at the restaurant (he also checked us in) he was the absolute best and made our stay even better! Merci to him!

It was quite pricey but overall a good place to stay in Munich. Wished the record player had worked, asked for help but were told to wait until morning, sort of defeats the purpose of a boutique hotel themed around music to not be able to use this feature.

Nice place, good breakfast. Beds are a bit hard for American standards, but that is normal in Germany. Pillows are too soft as well. If you like sleeping on hard beds, then this is probably comfortable for you. Overall had a great time here, good location.

Funky & eclectic Boutique spot
Cracking location at only 20 minute walk to Marienplatz. funky and super vibe. Great staff and super value. Love the idea of the free minibar in your room - soft drinks, water and beer is a nice touch. Breakfast is just enough and also included. Lovely comfy beds. Standard Rooms are on the small side but great for a week or less. Perfect for my three night stay.

Perfect for us!
Great place within walking distance from city centre. Cosy bar with good asian-inspired food. Car elevator(!) to the underground parking was a new experience. Got help with booking/cancelling/rebooking taxi and printing tickets. The kids approved of the wifi. And of course we played vinyls from the 80’s one night. Would stay there again!

Pleasant stay in Munich
Stylish and cozy room. Shower door could be improved - stylish but not very funcional (water leaks to the room). Breakfast menu is short yet with very very good quality. My only issue was with payment - I had requested to pay upon check in in cash but the hotel debited the credit card in advance. Location was perfect to our needs - close enough to the city center but a bit quieter. Would come back for sure.

Incredible hotel with great staff, awesome rooms, very clean and safe in great location. Great breakfast. Only issue was air conditioning. Had to sleep above covers b/c it was over 80 degrees in room. Asked for help several times and was told temp was not controlled in rooms but was controlled for entire building so couldn't be remedied.

JAMS Music Hotel was recommended by friends who live in the area. We enjoyed the hotel's cool vibe and decor. The hotel has cool Rock royalty decor throughout the hotel. I wish they put more Rock decor in the rooms. The shower was great pressure, however you have to add a lot of towels on the floor to contain the water that comes from the shower - but we managed. The bar area seemed to be happening and very popular. The breakfast was plentiful and great with fresh bread, meat/cheese options, baked goods, eggs and Capuccinos. The staff was very friendly. the area is very convenient to walk to the metro tram and walk to many restaurants in the area.

We were standing in front of closed doors in the middle of the night (3AM). The hotel didn’t inform us that they have no reception and a passcode is needed. I called the service hotline which didn’t give us the code and said we will be called Back. This never happened. It was freezing outside and we had to wait 3 hours in front of the closed door.
