We stayed in one of the premium mountain cabins and it was possibly the nicest accommodation we have ever stayed in. Very private and beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you could possibly need - including heated flooring and a fireplace. Would definitely stay here again.

Basic stay in a cabin. Wafer thin walls meant you could easily hear adjoining occupants. Kitchen area was a highlight of our trip. We met some interesting people and shared some great times. For someone who still wants a bit of comfort while enjoying the call of nature, the Cradle Mountain Discovery Park cabins are great. The kitchen is well provided for, the shower is hot, & the couch is great to kick back in, put your feet up, & relax after a long day. There’s lots to do in the immediate area, including a climb up Black Bluffs lookout for a spectacular view of the mountain, and a short(ish) drive to fascinating towns like Waratah. Don’t miss the Devils at Cradle either!

The park was so nice. It was so close to nature we saw wombats wondering around. the staff were friendly and it was in a great location.
