We arrived by train so the location 15/20 minutes from Central station was good. However the hotel is uphill from the station not so good when wheeling cases over cobbled surfaces! Staff we met were all very friendly and efficient. The room was the smallest we had during our trip around Belgium and Holland( we stayed in 5 different hotels) and also the most expensive. Unlike all the other hotels it did not provide tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Given this I would have expected free coffee/tea in the hotel lobby but none was provided. The room itself was very clean, bathroom although small was spotless. Breakfast was very good, a cold selection of meats, cheeses etc. There were no hot choices, Given that breakfast was charged extra (16.50 euros pp per day) this only increased the overall cost when compared to other hotels we stayed in. Location was very good only 15 mins from Grand Place and Cathedral. We had a room overlooking a lovely garden courtyard where you could enjoy a drink after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall a pleasant stay, there may be other hotels in Brussels that may offer better value.
