Even though we arrived at 10 p.m., Camilla & Filippo, welcomed us with smiles. After a long plane ride, our big room was a wonderful and welcome site....clean, remodeled bathroom, vintage armoire for our clothes, comfortable bed and unique artwork everywhere. Although our breakfast of juice, fruit, yogurt, croissants & cereal were set out for us to enjoy, Camilla always came in to make the coffee fresh for us. My husband needed an ice pack and Camilla accommodated us with a smile. We were a five-minute walk to the bus, train and port. And, if you can't find a parking space on the street, there is a garage a two-minute walk behind their building for 10 euros/night.
Our balcony overlooked an inner courtyard so there was no street noise....but we could sometimes hear the wonderful banter from the Il Siciliano restaurant behind us. We loved this restaurant (Via Gaetano Filangeri, 10) so much, we went often. (ask for Johnnie).
