Staff was good. Room was clean, but a bit narrow. I felt a bit expensive considering the overall quality.

The manager was extremely helpful accommodating the location of our room to parking to minimize walking. He also was very responsive to our questions about the property’s proximity to the fires in Oregon. We were there during the fire season.

A Little Gem near Crater Lake
Eagle Crater Lake Inn was a little gem on our road trip this year. The accommodations are basic, but clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was great, and the innkeeper Christopher was wonderful! We loved our short stay and would definitely return.

The room was clean and comfortable. Needs updating. We were not able to access the internet. My cell could not pick up a signal when in the room but could when you stepped outside. Many rules posted to not do this or that or things would not work. You break anything, you pay.

Chris, the manager was so friendly and helpful. He texted usin the morning to confirm the room and get an ETA. He welcomed us to the property, offered us free beverages in the social area, offered dining options and just made the visit feel personal. The rooms are aging and quite small, but remarkably clean with very little noise from the outside.

A basic place to stay for a night
An older motor lodge style hotel. Relatively convenient to Crater Lake - not many options close to the park. Not much atmosphere, but it got us through the night.

Nice staff. Christopher gave us an upgrade to 2 king size beds upon check in. He even recommended Taqueria Lupita next door for our dinner and it was very good. Clean facility.

This is quite literally the worst stay I had anywhere in my life.
-Internet is so slow that it won't load anything and it was down half of the time. I let the management know and they pretty much replied 'it's a remote area, get used to it' and acted like none of us has ever heard of Starlink.
-Tried to charge my card and say that I checked in before I even arrived. (Only found out after Expedia sent me an email)
-Power went out the middle of the night and the heat woke me up. The power didn't come back until dawn the next day. There is no backup generation system whatsoever in an area prone to forest fires.
-Room is dingy with cracked floors, walls and ceiling and I found spiders crawling on the floor.
-TV can't load more than half of the channel saying it lost service.
-They somehow had the audacity to ask for a "tip" for this kind of service at check in.
I am not even sure how this is allowed to be posted on Expedia. How is this worth $239? This is beyond bad.

We enjoyed our stay at Eagle Crater Lake Inn. Customer Service was A ! Our AC A-Frame had all the basics necessary for a family vacation…. cable, pots, toiletries… and plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run and play. The town, Chemult is about 30 minutes from Crater Lake and Diamond Lake. The town Chemult lacks dining varieties selections.

It’s an older property but well maintained and clean. We have a good experience with check in and our stay overall. If we ever go back to Crater Lake, I’d stay here again.
