Love staying here, the staff is always wonderful, it's clean and very comfortable. Best Hotel in Duluth. Been staying here for over 20 years and hope to be doing so for at least another 20. Excited to see the new renovations they are planning for the end of this year.

Very nice visit, except for the annoying kids.
We had a great time, with a warm room, nice whirlpool tub, good shower and sauna. I also liked the breakfast. But the only major thing that bothered us was kids running around in the lobby after 10 pm, and neither the hotel staff nor the kids' parents were doing anything about it. This was extremely annoying. Also, I wish we had known in advance that you have to call to get a room with a whirlpool tub: they told us this only when we checked out.....they said it wasn't possible to do online (not sure why).

Clean and quiet. lakeview rooms had balconies. Loved that. Good location. Comfortable. They even have exhaust fans in the restroom! Now if all hotels would put in more towel bars or hooks that would be great.

We had a room with lake view and it was beautiful. Breakfast was very good, big variety of food, fresh juice, good coffee. The only thing we didn’t like that a lot of kids on our floor were making lots of noise, screaming and slamming doors. I believe it was a hockey team age 8-13 or something and nobody was there to remind them to be quiet.
