We bought a night at this hotel as a gift for my elderly parents, and were NOT advised by Expedia, or the hotel, that the cardholder needed to be present at check-in, until my parents arrived and the hotel refused to check them in until they paid the full amount separately.
This is despite the hotel already debiting my credit card (they did issue a refund to me within a couple of days) and despite us pleading on the phone with the person at the front desk who was completely inflexible, impolite and unprofessional. He also claimed that Westover had severed its relationship with Expedia a week after our booking, which was apparently a lie.
The hotel itself is okay, but be prepared for an unnecessarily stressful experience at check-in.
