Walls like paper
This hostel felt like it was built in an old warehouse. The public space was tidy, and the servce was as good as you can expect in Japan.
However, the photos don't show it all. Even though the walls seem tidy in their white colour, the ceiling has been left as it is — plain concrete with some pipe ends here and there. On top of all this, there is no proper sound insulation. You can clearly hear the sounds from the street, people walking down the corridor, even the person the guy in the next room is talking to over the phone. The walls are paper, so don't expect to have any privacy.
