The room was clean and newly renovated. The bathroom was amazing! Rain showerhead and 2 other massaging heads. Very neat mirror where you could change the lighting with a tap. Bed was a little too firm, would have liked an extra pillow.

2/10 Poor

Disgusting! The room was filthy and had obviously not been cleaned. The bed sheets and pillows were covered with yellow stains, the bed skirt was full of yellow and dark brown stains. Bugs on the floor all over the place. Dirty curtains, filthy, broken appliances, disgusting shower curtain, broken sink, bathroom wall covered with toothpaste projections, dust everywhere, and the list goes on. The front desk person offered to vacuum the bugs and showed up with a small stick vacuum. He also gave me a cab of Feebreeze to.cover the horrible smoke and musty odor of the room. This place is Disgusting and unsanitary and should not be allowed to operate. Literally the worst i have ever seen and i travel the world quite frequently! Wish i could post pictures here! Stay away!

4/10 Fair

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 1 night. The cabin could be cute and has a good layout but it was in poor condition with a very bad musty/moldy smell. The stove had rust all over it and the bathroom was filthy with a disgusting tub/shower with so much mold on the shower curtain it needed to be thrown away. All the floors were filthy and sticky and the scatter rug in the living room area needed a good shampooing. Even the towels were not bright white and have seen better days and need to be replaced or bleached. The love seat was stained and sticky. Overall for the price, it was bit worth it and it is too bad because it could be a very cute place with more upkeep and care and it has potential. The cabin had a deck which would be a positive but the furniture that was on it did not appear to be safe to use. It seemed rotten and might collapse if sat in and filthy.

Looks like they had just done recent renovations. The bathroom was completely redone and had a very convenient LED mirror that adjusted brightness, very neat

Like, you must be kidding, it was the dirty. slow running washroom sink, the toilet had to be flushed several times it was used, more than 2 or three light bulbs burned out, just a waste of time bringing it to their attention and to top it off, I know the people who had the property before the present owners and it was a five star place to stay, Shame on them for running. it to the state it is now

The cottages were very very dirty!!! It was a two bedroom cottage and only had one fork, one spoon and one knife in the kitchen. Cobwebs and dried up bugs and flies everywhere. There was bits of greasy food still on the sude of the stove.

We stayed 2 nights in two different rooms. Our friends and us both agree the renovated rooms were welcomed. The big walk in showers were fantastic. The king beds were very comfortable. It’s sad that they don’t clean the place. The rooms were filthy dirty especially the floors. We had to ask for clean towels to shower with each day. We never seen a cleaner. Once they renovate the outside they will have a great place. At the moment I can’t recommend MacKenzie’s Motel.

Wow, such a neat little spot.
Plenty of great potential here. Owner is awesome and hardworking. The area is nice and peaceful. We even had some friendly deer visitors. A few minor wear and tear around the cottage but such a great place to relax.

We didnt like the fact that the cabin was not clean. We would not use the stove it was disgusting the bathroom had half a roll of bathroom tissue and more to be found had to bug ours no cup to rinse after brushing our teeth the bathroom smelled of urine and there were cobwebs everywhere the furniture looked like it was picked off the side of the road and the floors were not swept.
