Upon seeing the parking arrangements and the room it was apparent it was not suitable for my needs. I went back to reception but no one was there. I waited until someone came back then approached the receptionist about getting my cash back. (Less than 30 minutes) she said it was not possible. I reached out to the owner and was told via WhatsApp that it was a last minute reservation. She didn’t know I have dogs ( stated in my reservation) and refused any compensation. I have been a super host with Airbnb for many years as well as my traveling partner. Every situation is unique and the owner is more than capable of making the decision to refund part if not all of my money.
This is very poor customer service, bad reviews go a long way these days. Perhaps on my account you would reach out to her and suggest she re-evaluate the situation.
