No respect for guests’ property and zero customer orientation.
After a pretty uneventful night in one of Hotel Central’s very basic and dated annex rooms (clean and with a nice sauna area, though, hence the second star), we found our car (which was parked in one of the hotel’s official parking spaces) covered in debris. That morning, staff were removing the plants from their balconies without caring about what was beneath. The receptionist, I suppose the daughter of the owners, rejected my complaint with a shrug and said they “still would have cleaned the car with the garden vacuum”. Which sane person would clean a car with a garden vacuum, especially if the debris went into all gaps and joints?
Even though I told her that I was really disappointed and that this experience would mar our impression, she just shrugged her shoulders again and snappishly said: “There’s nothing I can do about that”.
Well, maybe showing some sympathy and at least offering to reimburse the car cleaning costs would have been an option?
Good to know the true attitude towards guests at this property. Hotel Central - never again.
