Run down
Good: location
Bad:
1) no lift despite having 4 floors
2) shower has no water pressure
3) breakfast is fine but is in a basement
4) very run-down, in desperate need of renovations

Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Only down side is the60 steps required to get to bedroom. Partly my fault for not asking.

Would probably stay again
Stayed in a room in the annexe. Nothing particularly awful or great. A little tatty around the edges, but in terms of cost versus finish, not a problem.
It was a single room (as booked) and small, but well appointed enough. Shower room under stairs, so kept bumping head - and I'm not tall! No lifts. Didn't have time for breakfast although menu looked substantial enough. Very very convenient for central amenities.

Great find for a Central London hotel.
reat hotel, easy to find and right in the middle, within easy walking distance of everything. Room was spacious and clean with all facilities. Nice hot shower with good water pressure, lots of tea/coffee selection. Very friendly staff showed me around on booking in, breakfast the next morning was included and very tasty. I'd not hesitate to recommend Morgan Hotel

Amazing place
Great service, fantastic staff. Amazing breakfast. Perfect location. We had an apartment for 4 adults (family of 4) which was great the only thing we can complain about is the shower. It really is terrible and needs replacing. Other than that a perfect stay

Great location but not worth the price
Great location and bed clean and comfy
No fridge in room and walls tatty and water damage and repairs in hall way. Window did not stay open so had to use bin to keep it open
Shower temp not easily controlled and towels small +++
Breakfast room down in the cellar so not really that nice
Breakfast only 7.30-9.30 even at weekend but they did provide us toast even though the cleaner vac’d the floor around us
Booking not obvious if breakfast included
Nothing eco friendly all single use packets of jam, butter etc
Bag storage was the breakfast room which meant luggage could be accessed by anyone so not at all secure if flying later in the day
Card needed for payment and ID but not explained
Not worth £200

Great location for exploring the city, close to a variety of transportaion options. Clean bedding and towels. The rooms are a bit dated and worn, could use some refurbishment ie: carpets, noise reduction, better quality pillows but its an old building so expected. You can hear the people in the other rooms talking or their tv but most were respective and tried to be quiet. Great breakfast and wonderful staff.

The rooms were clean and provided comfortable beds for our one night stay. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was included - a cheap and cheerful cooked breakfast, cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit to choose from.

Superb
I would definitely stay here again. The main advantages: the location is central to many attractions, particularly the British Museum which is right around the corner. It is a very convenient property to reach from Heathrow-The newish Elizabeth Line underground has a stop that is only a quarter mile away. Much less expensive that the Heathrow Express. Various guests have commented on different rooms. I was in a single room in the basement of the annex and couldn't have been happier. It faced away from the street, so no street noise at all. The room had a fridge and coffee pot. It had more space than I needed, and a small patio/garden. And then there was breakfast: a full English breakfast included in the room price! More food than I eat in a typical day. The proprietor was most friendly.

Not recommend
It is a townhouse converted to a hotel. Steep stairs, no elevator, if you have luggage or mobility issues, climbing up to your room on a top floor could be a challenge.
One really had to push the lever on a toilet with force for it to flush. The water in the shower never became hot. The impression we had it was run as cheaply as possible. We felt the price/quality combination was not adequate. We will not be back.

A Very Comfortabe Stay
Very quaint and tidy. It could use with some updating, but its an understandably older building and I feel it would take away some of the charm. Maid service was provided for towels and beds. Drinking water was provided daily. Perfect for the provided teapot and kettle. The included breakfast was greatly appreciated.

Great location near the British Museum.
Only criticism is that I couldn't get the central heating to work.
Quite a lot of narrow stairs to third floor. It didn't bother me as I am fit but would be awkward perhaps for those less able IF their room was at the top.
All in all I enjoyed my one night stay!

Central location - but dated hotel
This is a dated hotel but provides a reasonable place to sleep near the centre of London. I would not re book due to being outdated, minimal comfort and showers were just a trickle.

Highly recommend for the value!
Great location, close to public transport, close to so many awesome neighborhoods, easy access to the top sights. Very helpful and available staff. We stayed in an apartment separate from the reception building, but just a few steps away, and had access to all amenities and service. Many tasty restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

This place is great for those looking for an excellent location and a more old-style classic English experience rather than the traditional basic hotel. So many things to do within walking distance or the tube stop close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful, an excellent breakfast, and overall loved the stay. Just be mindful this is an old renovated building with some wear and tear that is expected from time. No elevator so make sure you are in good shape for the flights of stairs with your luggage.
