Autumn break
The guest house was very central and it was handy for the hub restaurants cafes and bus station. A wee but run down but the bed was very comfortable. Very adequate. I stayed 3 nights

The room needed a thorough deep clean. The shower was in a cupboard, I didn’t shower as it was too dirty. The toilet was in a cupboard down a ramp. Communication was good.

Just OK
The lady was very helpful with a text telling us what to do and including a list of places for dinner and breakfast but I personally don't like not being welcomed by a person. The room was adequate but the en-suite was very lacking. The shower had a crack in the tray the doors didn't stay shut and the handbasin was totally inadequate. The tap was too large and the basin too small so you couldn't wash your face and the plug didn't fit so the water didn't stay. Sorry, we felt it was very overpriced for what you got.

Good position for exploring.
The guest house was in a very good position for the town and amenities. However the apartment that we stayed in was tired, in need of redecorating and repair as the window frames were crumbling and difficult to keep open. I would give the cleanliness a 3. The cooker was not very clean and unusable as there were no saucepans. We didn't see the owner once during our stay.
