Disgusting and Wrong Accommodation Provided!
We arrived late due to our flight time and within 5 mins of arriving we realised that we would not be staying here! We tried to call the 'urgent' number but no-one answered (3 times!). There was no coffee machine as promised and we had a city view, not garden view as per our booking. The lamp above the sofa was smashed and looked dangerous. The apartment was disgusting, smelled of smoke, stains on the sofas and hairs in one of the beds. The toilet was gross and the furniture was scuffed and leather ripped! This is advertised as a 'luxury' apartment. 3 stars in the UK are better and that's saying something! We were clearly placed in the wrong building as the one that matched the photos for the one we booked was 3 doors or so down! This one was run down and looked very much like a residential building as opposed to a holiday one that had been refurbished. We decided not to stay and at great expense, had to find an alternative accommodation (thankfully the nearby Garni Hotel had speace for us (a quality hotel but at a price). The Otium manager was not available and the lady who did respond eventually was simply a messenger who stated that the manager would not respond until after the Christmas break which was of little use to us. Had the apartment been even bareable, we would not have decided to pack everything up & go searching for an alternative place at 11pm! They then told us to go through Hotels.com who, after 3 attempts agreed to give us a full refund and compensation!
