We stayed here one night, as we were attending a holiday party in the area. Prior to our arrival, I was asked what time we would be arriving. I indicated between 14:00-15:00. When we arrived at 14:30, after a 4-5 hour drive, and rang the reception bell, no one answered. My husband placed a phone call twice to the number associated with the hotel. He was able to reach the owner whom said they would be by in 10 minutes. They were friendly in greeting us and apologized. When we were shown our apartment it was dark and cold. They hurriedly turned the heat on. It took several hours for it to warm up. We were walking around in winter jackets until we left for our function. Not to mention the concrete floor was freezing. Slippers would have been nice. There was a cozy, open fireplace we were told we could utilize, yet, it only had two big logs, no kindling, lighter, extra wood, no safety screen or fire implements. Other minor details - Wi-Fi did not work as advertised, and there was no remote to use the TV. Lastly, as it was a family winery, there were bottles of wine in the kitchen for purchase, yet, no price list. For the price we paid and conditions, a complementary glass or bottle of wine upon arrival would have been nice. Yet, we were checked in, paid and the owners left hurriedly in about 10 minutes. Other than these issues, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cute and property beautiful.
