Very friendly and helpful hosts. They were very kind when I was ill during our 5 day stay, offering to get a doctor to visit. The peaceful, sunny courtyard was perfect for relaxation and the breakfast area was very attractive. It wasn't as central as some casas but very convenient for Plaza Carillo, a smart park, which was a hub for using wi-fi. The walk to Plaza Mayor and the centre of Trinidad was around 15 minutes. We found an excellent Italian restaurant called Sapori, which was less than 5 minutes walk from the casa.

Our stay at Hostal Dr Lara y Sra Yuda was nice, it was very simple and nothing extraordinary, but that is also what we expected. You pay 5 CUC for the breakfast per person and that breakfast is nice and served by the two nicest ladies ever. We didn't see the hosts a lot, just some small interactions, which was totally fine. I would recommend it if you don't want to spend too much money and are fine with a basic stay.

Kort opphold i Trinidad
Er ikke det beste oppholdet vi har hatt Synes det var vanskelig at ingen snakket engelsk. Bildet som viste rommet var misvisende, vi fikk en smal og dårlig dobbeltseng I et lite soverom. Var nok en dårlig standard på alt på dette stedet. Resten av fam vår bodde rett borte I gaten og der var det en annen standard samt at de snakket engelsk. Frokosten var så enkel som den kunne bli som ikke fristet til gjentagelse, men vi hadde ikke noe alternativ. De gjorde nok sitt beste, med de midler de hadde. Solstoler på terrassen som var revnet og ubrukelige. Vi reagerte på at Hotels brukte et sånt sted. Her bør det nok gjøres endel endringer. Ikke noe sted vi anbefaler videre.
