Overall we had a very comfortable stay at this hotel and had a very good dinner in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was also very good. One negative point was despite having the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, room service staff entered the room whilst my wife was in the shower just to place a welcome note and fruit bowl for the next guest. This is totally unacceptable and not what I would expect from such a reputable hotel

Beautiful Boutique hotel right near Manama Souq. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff is excellent they are kind and helpful they make you feel welcome the entire time. I loved my stay here. The valet parking was great and fast. They also upgraded my room because I am a hotels.com gold member thank you so much! The restaurant food is very good better than other hotels in Bahrain. The only bad thing is that the restaurant is very expensive the price is very high.

I can't begin to describe the level of attentiveness the staff at The Merchant House bestowed upon me during my stay there. Kudos to the housekeeping supervisor Jalapathi and the FOH crew at reception (especially Ahmed) for their customer service skills and to Veeranan at the spa. I'm so glad I booked this hotel. :) x
