Dreadful
I’m not sure how places like this still operate ? , It’s like something from the 1970’s , Chatty woodwork , Grubby carpets especially in the hallways , The major issue in my room (room 4 a single room ) was the “ EnSuire “ bathroom pod ???? Toilet , sink & shower all in one plastic dated unit , with a black shower curtain , that when closed gives a minute about of room to shower ! Just gave me that “ skin crawling “ feel to be in it , also it’s on a step up to the pod , very cramped & hard on the feet , Breakfast very average , something i’ve never experienced , tinned tomatoes & baked beans on the same plate ??? Instantly turned me off , Waitress should make guests aware of that , I booked a year in advance & paid £75 approx , but was amazed to see last minute rooms priced at £120 per night ???? Not worth that ! I won’t be returning !

Close enough to be part of the fun that is Bridlington. Far enough out to be away from the madness that is Bridlington. On one side; the road to the sea. One the other side; the start of the Yorkshire Wolds.

Misleading to say it's a spa hotel, the spa is round the back and a different company. It's more like a run down pub that the brewery don't want to spend a penny on. It's in desperate need of a refurbishment. This isn't a 3 star hotel, it's a run down neglected pub.

My daughter and I have just had a lovely weeks holiday at Fern Farms hotel in Carnaby. It is run by Debbie (nothing is too much trouble) and her husband Martin (the chef). Our room was a good size twin, the beds were comfortable and it had tea, coffee making facilities and a large tv. The en suite had a bath with shower over. The food was very good, all home cooked, and the fried eggs were perfect every morning. I recommend this hotel as it is very good value for the money.

Very tired hotel
Very tired property. It was advertised as a spa hotel which is a bit misleading. It is a pub with rooms and a private health club behind.

2/10 Poor

We were due to stay 3 nights, but we stayed only 1 night because it was so bad. Outside our bedroom window was an extraction fan from the kitchen which was very noisey. We asked for it to be turned off but were told it had to be on while they were doing food. So it was on from 12.00 to 20.30. It then came on again to do breakfasts at 07.30. We therefore cut short our stay & left after 1 night. There was no wardrobe in the bedroom only a metal rod with 7 coat hangers on it for our clothes, just hanging in front of the window, where the kitchen fan was. When we went for breakfast we sat next to a window and there was a dead fly on the window sill. This is an example of the state of the cleanliness of the place.

Room was absolutely boiling windows only open a tad and room next door seemed to have extreme heat coming out of it, ie Heating boiler and 2 tanks. Wife accidently went into kitchen and as an ex cook she was appalled, fryers uncovered and floor was not clean. Having said this the staff were very friendly and the Breakfast was adequate.

Dining at night was from 7-8.20- a limited window of eating out. Not inviting that no guests were there. No lift in the place with quite steep staircase. Our elderly friend who accompanied us couldn’t come up to our room. Shame the pool and gym facilities were finished by 5.30 pm on the day we arrived.

Pool really good.
Access to the lovely pool and gym really made this a good place to stay. The breakfast was good. The room an okay size for a single. The only downside was the tiniest bathroom I have ever used (including caravans).

Good for contractors & people working in area
Faily basic motel type accomodation but ideal for contractors working in area. Food not awaya avaiable in evening but there are other places to eat close by. Free use of swiming pool in leisure centre on site is a bonus

Shabby without the chic! Booked because it offered spa facilities. Turns out these were separate and run by a different company (these were fine, id go again). But the hotel is best described as 'rough pub', with tired and dirty decor and carpets. Took one look at the menu and grubby restaurant and went elsewhere to eat. Room was OK but not worth what i paid, and worst of all owner Shane so unnecessarily rude and made it clear we were an inconvenience. My advice, go stay at Manor Court Hotel up the road, and buy a day pass to the spa (Palms Leisure).

We were welcomed with a big smile from Sam, who along with her husband Shane run the hotel, we were booked in and shown to our rooms with a friendly explanation of timings for breakfast and were it would be. After settling into the really well presented rooms with en-suite bath and shower facilities, with clean fresh towels on bed, we went down to the bar area which was spacious and well stocked, and very reasonably priced, both Sam and Shane served us and chatted to us all evening. The following morning we had a lovely breakfast cooked by Shane. I and my friends really enjoyed our stay, but this occasion we didn’t get opportunity to use pool and spa facilities that hotel guests can use free of charge, I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay here, we will certainly be staying there again, when in the Bridlington area.
